Just a teen having fun.
I think they have enough to talk about in her household, like how long Bret Michaels has been banging her mom.

She is legal now, isn't she? 8)

And there's the gateway drug. Wacky weed, hash, and eventually coke are right around the corner.

Surprise, surprise.

I wasn't born until '83 so that would be a no.

I haven't! I had a chance to 3 times, and I "said no". It was the 80's and I blame Nancy Reagan.

Oh geeez, the question was rhetorical, similar to, "Why are some people so stupid?"
Perhaps Miley wrote a great song in her drug addled state!! I don't see this incident
creating a future of severe drug usage ...she's not a beast, yet!! Relax!!!

Lynny, I'm glad to hear that D.A.R.E worked for you, though!!

Never struck me after that as something I wanted or needed to do.

It wasn't the 70's, but in 1984 I took my first (and only) bong hit. I was at my best friend's house, and her mom, dad and boyfriend were smoking on the homemade beaker bong the boyfriend made. They offered, and I tried it. I had the most horrible dream of huge black hairy spiders crawling on me that night... :?

Oh, those were the days... 8)

I knew it was rhetorical but it's still fun to chime in  I DO agree with you about Miley though. The media are like vultures! WAITING for her to fail and become the new Britney Spears. They thrive on the rise and fall of young celebrities. I find it sad. She's a teen. She's going to do bad things sometimes. She's going to make some mistakes. But being in the spotlight will make it worse for her. The price for being famous I guess. I can't imagine that kind of life for one of my kids. There are a lot of perks, but so many hurtful things too. I hope she's a success through her teen years so she can say "Ha! bite me" to them all. I hate the media, so I'm rooting for her!

 What do have against fun? Dude, do yourself a favor, run down to the store, grab a twelver of some shitty domestic beer, then hit your doctor up for about 20 vicodins and head home. Call me, I'll walk you through it. It's a blast dude! And if you can, grab an empty plastic milk jug and score a nickle bag of hippie lettuce off some passing high school student....You can then do "bucket hits" in the bath tub. Great times dude!

Oh I need to know this. Don't ask me why Annie, but I need to know this tidbit of information. I will tell you all my personal shit first, so you'll feel more comfortable.

I got drunk for the very first time at the ripe old age of 16. Was at a high school pajama party and I went as Magic Johnson. Drove my moped home hammered and crashed the damned thing. Passed out on the sidewalk until the automatic sprinklers went off at 430AM. I woke up, started up the Honda Express, and motored home, went to bed.

I lost my virginity at the age of 15 on Sunset Blvd to one of Southern California's finest hookers. I remember I was so excited to be pounding clam, I didn't even know when I "did it." Fuck, I was embarrassed. I can laugh at it now, but since that day, that's the only thing I ever constantly think about. Pussy.

Got higher than Ben Franklin's kite in high school wood shop. Some stoner told me to "hit this" and I did...I had a rather aggressive attitude and would try anything once, so I did. Got so high I damned near cut my fingers off on the band saw. I was trying to make a square box, and when I was done, it looked like a triangle.

Did coke once, after 10 shots of Jaegermeister at a bar called "Take Five." Went to take a piss and some guy shoves a credit card in my face and says "snort the corner dude." I of course did. In the next 5 minutes I was feeling so good, I was arm wrestling anyone who would accept. I was betting money and beers, I was so high I never lost, wasn't even close. I was very sore the next day however. Later that night, drove a friend home, dropped her off and then some time in the next 5 minutes, crashed my car into a parked Jeep. Not my finest night.

Of course I have endless experience with vicodin/percocet. I do need it for relentless pain in my knees and shoulder, but truth be told, that is some good stuff right there. I got so fucking high once, I walked up to a woman at a wedding and told her point blank, "this wedding has my wheels turning. I have looked at you throughout the ceremony, and truth be told, I want to fuck you." The vicodin gives you huge confidence and makes you ultra nice and sweet and caring, and very talkative. I can vividly remember doing her in a hotel room upstairs from the reception, and tellojng her the intracacies of the power play in hockey and how you need speed when you cross the blue line, all the while not skipping a beat and keeping perfect rhythm.

Lastly, I took about 9 cross tops- speed...I built an entire patio deck in one day. Actually, I built it overnight with table lamps for light. I was so amped. I remember the neighbours calling the cops for noise violations. It was awesome. I was sweating like a big black linebacker and in the end, the deck was perfect. I did sleep for two days afterwards, though.

Your turn annie. :P

Dean...I must be the world's most boring person...no colorful stories to tell about myself. I suppose my life correlates with CPC...no smoking-no drugs. As I said, I have an older sister and older brother that were into the hippy culture of the late 60s-early 70s, and we were right in the middle of San Fran. However, I was a "good" girl and never strayed. School and Work. My parents are immigrants from China, and out of 5 children, I'm the only one that has a Bachelor's degree.

As I became "of age", the only liquor I could tolerate is "screwdrivers" and white wine...which I completely gave up when I started having children and breastfeeding (from '88-'96). After so many years of avoidance, I don't miss alcohol at all.

And, you want to know the details of my sexual history :?:....that not even my own family knows :?: , lol...
I'm going to tell you (and a bunch of strangers on this board) that I've only had sexual relations with 3 men in my life.
I was not "popular" in high school, did not have a boyfriend, or went to the prom....so it was easy to stay out of trouble.

Most of you don't know what I do, but I am a car salesman by trade, but in the past two decades have been a sales manager or finance manager. In the 80's pretty much everyone in the business was snorting coke. Hell, they used go give coke away as bonuses to motivate the salesman. Now everyone who needs a lift just drinks Red Bulls.

got drunk too at the age of 16.i came in fucked up,said hello to mom and dad and promptly passed the fuck out in my dad's recliner and i was embarrassed as hell the next day when they told me i rambled on incoherently for quite a while before i finally shut up and passed out.

throughout the next decade which was the whole great bill clinton led 90's decade pretty much i picked up a cigarette habit, beer habit and weed habit.there toward the end i started doing cocaine which set me on a real fucked up course where i eventually was staying up coked out and drinking twenty four seven.well i finally ended up in a hospital and quit smoking, drinking, drugs, the whole nine yards.mind you this wasn't a rehab but a regular hospital i woke up in after suffering seizures due to my fucked up hours and habits.stayed in there nearly a month.

anyway for two years i was totally clean but then pretty much the day after 9/11 happened i had a real bad car wreck and had to stay home from my job for a while.anyway the next day i started hurting and i reached for the vicodin bottle i was prescribed.for some reason i was scared to death to take one as i had never ever took one before.anyway the pain got to great and i took one.about twenty minutes later i had the best fucking buzz i ever had from any drug period.i looked at that bottle like where the hell have you been all my life.well not to long afterwards i had another wreck worse than the first and it screwed me up pretty bad.

anyway for the last ten years i haven't smoked, drank or did any illegal drug and have no desire to.i tried to get off the pain meds but my doctor didn't want me too and when i did i realized real quickly i didn't want to hurt.i had family members trying to say i was a drug addict and i needed to get off the pain meds.i caved in and tried but after hurting so bad i finally decided to do what was right for me.i'm not breaking any damn laws, hurting anybody or causing any trouble so i decided to stay on the vicodin.hell they do give you a nice little buzz from time to time and considering i don't drink, smoke or do any drugs and haven't in years i don't see what the big deal is.i have a few goody two shoes family members who think i'm best without it but oh well.
