Let's hear your front row stories...

I saw Survivor here in Columbia back in 1996 or 1997, and was 5 feet from Jamison for pretty much the whole show. He freaking NAILED every note, and I was absolutely amazed! "High On You" and "The Search Is Over" were my highlights of the evening. Funny story about that night...

It was a free concert held in a really nice park in downtown Columbia and as you can imagine, there were nothing but white people there. About half-way through the concert, 6 tall black guys start shoving their way through the crowd. They're shoving men, women AND children to the ground. They looked like a bunch of basketball players, as they were all probably 6'3" to 6'5". They were elbowing people, yelling shit out, and just being DICKS! As I see them making their way up to the front where we were, I saw that not one person was saying or doing ANYTHING to these guys.

I was there with my wife and my 12 year old (at the time) nephew. They got all the way up to us, and shoved my wife to the ground. I picked her up and put her behind me, and hit the guy who knocked her down as hard as I could in the chest with both hands. I sent his ass about 6 feet back and he landed on his back on the concrete, head hitting on impact. He jumped up, and I just knew I was going to get the worst beating of my life. I got right up in his face with my finger about an inch from his face, cussing him out and told him he was an inch from losing his life.

Lucky for me, they all turned around and left. They didn't say shit on the way out either. As soon as they left, all these pussies around me where like "we would have had your back man!". It took a while before I could get back into the concert, but it was a GREAT show. Best free show I've ever seen. :D I did wonder in the back of my mind though, if those fuckers were going to come back and start shit again. What a bunch of fucking inconsiderate assholes! :? At least my Nephew thought his uncle was a Badass!

Once, for about 1/2 a show...lol.... Journey in 2006 (the now legendary MR / Cleveland meetup). I bought tickets, yes, but not front row... I don't remember all the negotiating and shuffling leading up to it.... but we managed to weasel our way into the front row with the rest of the MR peeps. That was friggin' fun!

We did the old "ticket run." I took everyone's tickets and brought them back to you, Rhiannon and my sister, if I remember correctly. I also let you short fuckers stand in front of me, since I can just about see over The Statue Of Liberty. The security guards knew what we were doing because I told them and they were totally cool with it. That ILAA guy that Crazy Deb and Fu Fu know is a really cool guy.

I had front row tickets 4 times on that tour and Tito and I had front row for Cinderella a few months back. We saw mrsromek and LtVanish there, too. :)

You got that right. I do every chance I get, and if I don't start there, I try to work my way up if at all possible. Front row is addicting, and I knew the first time I bought 5-star ILAA tickets that I was crossing a line I couldn't easily come back from.

First time now please guys don't laugh at me it was March 10th, 1972 at Madison Square Garden for David Cassidy. It was a unreal experiance! I felt like the sardine in a can. For some strange reason (met him after this day and he told me i got a cool vibe from you??) he sang to me! My girlfiends were not happy with me in school on Monday. I have had many sense but like everything else in life the first one is always the best!

i got the tick the old fashioned way slept out for it at Grand Central Station in NYC. Those in the know, knew if you were one of the first on line there you'd get first row they opened an hour before the Garden box office opened so you always had it better at ticktron than the bo. Oh for the good old days!
