If Adam Lambert and George Michael already said no, Soto is probably 3rd in line for the Queen gig and could get it by default. That would be a pretty tremendous opportunity. May and Taylor have been trying to land Lambert for about 2 years and I just don't see it happening, and Michael seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth ... or into someone's asshole.

But W.E.T. is my first guess, with Queen being my second.

Seeing how EYES is the best effort ever by Jeff....anything short of that would be a disappointment. W.E.T. isn't big enough to tour. They'd need to cling on to an eight band bill....not happening.

Sean , EYES had a great debut CD but they never got too far for them to do a comeback announcement. Besides Talisman is THE best effort ever by Jeff

The VR announcement is right around the corner but they said their new singer is "young". Not that Soto is old but I'm guessing they meant someone younger like Avenge Sevenfold singer or Tim Ripper Owen !?

Do you have any recording plans scheduled for 2011 either solo or with another project?

I am currently working on this now trying to determine which will have priority, which will be ready first and who it will be. I have a new solo album to do, possibly another W.E.T. album as well as more Trans Siberian Orchestra studio work coming up, it is another busy year!

You have been involved with Trans Siberian Orchestra for the past 3 years. How did this year’s winter tour go? Are they planning on staying on the road past the holiday season?

"The tour went superb as usual and yes, we are doing a more extensive Spring tour this year which brings TSO to Europe for the 1st time ever in March. This is why we’re having to juggle so much in so little time this summer as I will be with TSO until nearly the beginning of June and if I am to do another Winter tour this year, the months between tours are barely enough to squeeze in all that is happening."

BOTH horrible choices, IMO, for
Slash and the VR guys. I know its
probably not Jeff, and he was probably
never considered. But I've always wished Jeff
could land a spot in a band that, to the Big Corporate Machine,
are "Cool" and "Hip" so the rest of the world would get
to see and hear what most of us here alreaady know...

Jeff deserves some SERIOUS limelight because that is just
WAY too much talent to be ignored!

Again, just my opinion.
