The only time I think Arnel bested Perry was on Revelation Disc 2, Only The Young. The only drawback on that track is Cain's unimaginable keyboard sound. Arnel is brilliant on this one.


The keyboard ruins the whole second disc. If they didn't rush it and could have done some extended intros or something the potential was there but that might not have been an option, changing the original melody. Wal-Mart and maybe even Perry might have had issues with that.

Certainly so, but did not Arnel sing the shit out of it? Easily his best on that disc.

Well if you have always felt that way about them, your certainly entitled to be in the minority
of those who do not like them, I can understand tiring of them, but the raw emotion of Neals solo in lights makes
it a classic, and while LTS doesnt rank among the best Journey songs, in comparison to the complete
catalog you could do alot worse!

I agree Rick, He did great on that track, the dude can flat out sing, he has some great pipes for sure!
