I think the real reason for the action may be suspect but that's my own opinion. As far as pulling tribute videos from Youtube itself. I think if they went as far as trying to pull the videos there, the question would arise as how it was not an issue while Neal was scouting singers. If it's a management request because of licensing, then all the live bootlegs videos are in the same boat as they are all unauthorized and don't pay any licensing to Nomota or Sony. Theoretically Steve Perry could even request any video not officially released by Sony or Journey that is on the net with a song he co-penned to be removed. It's a slippery slope but the main issue here, hosting links on your OWN site from outside sources like youtube has always been known to be technically afoul of copyright.
