I think it sounds like the cars, whether 70s or 80s. More like the early stuff though.

My husband bought it, the first song sounded good! I need to hear the rest of it before chiming in more.

To me, it all starts sounding the same. I wish it sounded a little more like "Drive" and some of their later stuff. That voice is seriously missing from this album. At the same time, it's still very cool to hear some new songs from the band, and it's not a wash-out. There are some cool tunes here.

It does miss Ben Orr, he was a nice touch and filled out the band. That being said, Ocasek sounds like he did 20 years ago, and that first song Blue Tip could easily be a lost track from Candy-o. I think it's a nice effort. I think this is the only band from the New Wave era that were any good at all. One of the few.
