Anyway, one of the songs in the set list from that show is Jump and I gotta tell ya.... he fucking nails it as does Stevens. It's probably the best cover I've ever heard of that song - they do it THAT good. If you were ever a Billy Idol fan the DVD is definitely worth checking out. He delivers every song flawlessly and remains true to the studio version most of the time.
Drummer Brian Tichy (Pride & Glory, Gilby Clarke) keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Alice Cooper, Dream Theater) and bassist Stephen McGrath round out the rest of the band. I'm not familiar with the drummer but he made me sit up and take notice. The guy's got some serious chops! And of course Derek Sherinian on keys is always a good thing. He has his keyboards setup and positioned the same way as Tuomas Holopainen (NightWish)... they're sorta tilted toward the ground rather than being level. As a keyboard player myself, I don't see any benefit whatsoever to setting them up this way. I guess it's purely aesthetics.
