A new survey suggests that Apple may have sold its iPhone 5 to more than a third of smartphone Relevant Products/Services consumers before the device is even announced, let alone on the market. The computer Relevant Products/Services giant is widely believed to have an iPhone refresh up its sleeve for this fall, and the survey suggests a large share of consumers are holding off upgrades or new purchases until then.

Amazing, eh? 8)

The fact remains that no features of iPhone 5 has been revealed yet. Plus no one at this point can purchase/order/preorder the phone. It's all speculations , but as I said IF the new phone doesn't bring up enough to the table , most iPhone 4 owners will choose the software upgrade route and hold off till iPhone 6 comes out. ;)

Talk about bleeding consumers dry at every level....a new iPhone every 12 months?! No wonder Apple has money...the halflife for technology is too damn short. Digital storage is another scam...hard drive space...I remember when HDs were 20Gs...then 40...60....80...120....160....fleecing consumers at every level....you know when they were selling 120Gs they already had TB technology....equal opportunity contrarian- today I'm on those consumer scammers at Apple.

Apple wouldn't release an iPhone without some pretty cool upgrades. Personally, I think they'll release 2 phones this fall. iPhone5 and an upgraded iPhone4 ... for China.

Apple is said to have landed the biggest prize in the mobile industry, partnering with China Mobile, the largest wireless carrier in the world, according to alleged company filings.

Various sites this week relayed a report from Chinese-language ccidcom.com, which cited a company filing that allegedly revealed China Mobile has entered an agreement with Apple to sell the iPhone 4 at the end of October. China Mobile is the largest mobile carrier in the world with 611 million wireless subscribers, controlling 68 percent of the total wireless market in China.

Reacting to the rumors on Friday, analyst Mike Abramsky with RBC Capital Markets said an iPhone launch with China Mobile could equate to an additional 2 million to 3 million units sold at the end of 2011, or between 8 percent and 12 percent of total iPhone shipments.

And this guy's numbers are way, way too low!

Wrong. June 2009 : Apple 3Gs ;) only a tad faster than iPhone 3G but nothing else that was a major improvement.
I'm telling you man , Apple needs A LOT to sell more iPhone 5 than iPhone 4.
You going to upgrade ?! ;)

I think it's going to have a bigger screen, an 8 megapixel camera, and might possibly be LTE.

But the Android Market is a malware factory, which is why I'm switching to an iPhone.

Standard & Poor's, has downgraded the United States' top-notch AAA rating.

S&P cut the long-term US credit rating by one notch to AA+, citing concerns about growing budget deficits.

we just added 2.2 Trillion dollars in debt to am existing 14.3 Trillion dollar debt... That's a 16% increase... all at one time...

We also just took debt/GDP to 75%..

China just downgraded the US... which I'd say it's pretty responsible

S&P had no choice... ratings agencies have to at least give the appearance of having integrity... to do nothing would only make it look even more obviously biased than it already appears to be...

Problem is, the reason the 3 main agencies looked into downgrading our rating in the first place was because revenue increases were NOT included in the "deal". If the Tea Baggers hadn't been blowing smoke up everybody's asses, this wouldn't have happened.

Turns out the Tea Bags are even more disliked than the Senate and the House:

Views of Congress, tea party reach new low in poll

One in five respondents said they approved of the tea party, down from 26 percent a few months ago.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/views-congress-tea-party-reach-low-poll-135728798.html

This downgrade is a shit stain on each one of those bastards on both sides of the aisle. Fuck them.

Yeah, it's the Tea Party's fault we got downgraded. You're a complete joke.

Did you catch the comments last week about how the establishment politicians were pissed because they couldn't BRIBE Tea Parties with re-election or chairmanships?

They're there to fix this spending problem. That's why you big government types don't like them.

We'll see how they really poll with the election next year. Enjoy your next ass beating.

They have all the sense of a dead pigeon and the economic knowledge of an Angolan mushroom farmer.

Given the poll data I just showed you, and seeing how they're TWICE as unpopular as the Republicans (who are only slightly less popular than Democrats), your prescience is questionable at best.

The Tea Baggers are a one time entity, and their swath of destruction will be clear enough come the next election cycle.

Good luck.

Personally, I don't think a downgrade by one agency is going to have much of effect. One of the talking heads on CNN made a good point that Europe is in worse shape than we are, her exact word' were that we are the "the cleanest dirty shirt."

You say this as you, the President and your beloved Party are floating in the wreckage that his marvelous stimulus plan has created. Yeah, the Tea Party as well as the founders were complete nutballs. The founding documents too, Obama and you liberals always crowing how wonderful Europe is. You guys have it all figured out over those crazy originalists of yesterday who founded the best country in the history of the world and their admirers of today.

Keep making more stupid predictions like you did before the 2010 election. You're always wrong.

Right.

Except when it comes to facts. Then I'm almost always right. I love how you and your ilk ALWAYS avoid the painful truths and ALWAYS attempt to change the subject.

Again, you don't need to be a psychic to be able to read these Tea Leaves...the Tea Baggers are doomed.

the downgrade was warranted... S&P had no choice or they would lose credibility in the rest of the world...

The fact that China allowed their rating agency to downgrade the US before S&P should speak volumes... and China owns $900B of US debt...

just how much does S&P own?

ZILCH.

I find it kind of funny that China was the first to slam the US after the downgrade. If this downgrade drags down our economy then they will loose just as much as we will. Most of what we buy is made in Chinese factories so if we stop buying, they loose money.

America supports those Chinese factories by shopping at Walmart, so they can keep loaning us more money, so we can buy more cheap crap
that people can buy from such places as Walmart. Yup, that looks like an economy to me.
