Paul McCartney Married ... Again

Postby JRNYMAN » Mon Oct 10, 2011 9:02 am

Paul's obviously one of those guy's who needs companionship and someone to share life with. Let's hope this one lasts longer than the last and I hope to God he had a pre-nup this time!

TMZ.com Report
October 9, 2011

Five months after getting engaged, Paul McCartney walked down the aisle today with his trucking-heir girlfriend from Jersey -- the famed Beatles singer's third marriage.

Paul and 51-year-old Nancy Shevell -- daughter of a New Jersey trucking magnate -- met in the Hamptons in 2007.

The ceremony took place at Marylebone Town Hall in central London -- the same place McCartney married his first wife, Linda, in 1969. Linda died of breast cancer in 1998.

McCartney's second marriage to model Heather Mills ended in divorce in 2008 -- after only 4 years.

I heard that she stands to inherit something like $500 million from her father's business, so she's probably not interested in the money

"Well-to-do family" is a relevant term in this case. She may very well be "rich" as Hell. But, Sir Paul is wealthy. Chris Rock explains the difference between the two perfectly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWERzwbobOk

Paul's status most definitely puts him in the "wealthy" category when you combine his amassed fortune and his annual earnings. I'm not sure if this is still correct but a few years ago, Paul was the second wealthiest musician in the universe earning over $50 million per year without getting out of bed! shock: Appearances, performances, productions, etc., are all in addition to the $50 million!! So, unless she's a Rockefeller. Vanderbilt, Hilton or a Gates.... she could stand to make some serious cash if she decided to take him to the cleaners.

The wealthiest person in music of course, is David Bowie. He OWNS a bank for Christ's sake! Now THAT's some serious wealth!

I am a die hard McCnartney fan and feel he should have just dated the rest of his life after Linda.
Never will he find what they had again.

I totally agree. He will never capture that kind of magic again with someone else.

It's weird. In the 70s, Linda took SOOOO MUCH CRAP from people who blamed her for the Beatle breakup and "what's she doing in Wings"?, etc. It was only in later years that people started respecting her. She was always extremely cool. She was in Wings cuz Paul wanted her there. She was petrified of that whole deal. But if you listen to the Wings stuff, her voice was a huge part of their sound. Yeah, she could sing flat sometimes, but so could all the Wings guys. I dunno, I thought she was extremely cool. He shoulda just dated.
