Oct 5th, Prague show without Eric.

Lost his voice. The guys didn't cancel, still put on a great show, each covering Eric's vocals. And I'm sure probably alot more progressive jamming at this one. Refunds were offered up front, but still a packed house. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdwq1KPkE-4

Was just watching this Italian interview recently (was done a couple days before the Prague show), thinking it almost sounds like he's coming down with something. His vocals are usually gruffer earlier in the day, but not that gruff. :shock:

IMO, they need to get more ballads in there, 2 + hour shows with only 1 or 2 ballads? (Just Take My Heart & To Be With You). Love my Bigs and the high energy of the shows, but, I would rather see Mr Big caput than ruining E's pipes and any chance of future solo work from him. :twisted:

LOL, I can almost gaurantee you the guys wouldn't carry on Mr Big w/o Eric. Unlike another band, they wouldn't go looking on YT for an EM soundalike. :lol:

That's one band that's in it for the friendship and the fun of playing together again. Either way, it's all good, E was back in fine form at Monday's Berlin show........

Interesting read, thanks Bry. Always concerned with EM trashing his pipes trying to sing over powerhouses PG/BS, so this bringing their vocals forward I'm all about it.

Along with being a straight forward rock band, Mr. Big is very heavy on the vocal harmonies. All four members sing and those harmonies make up a big part of their sound. The VoiceLive Rack has been a great tool for helping those vocals cut through loud rock guitars and bass.”

The song in that clip (always interesting to me to hear about vocal stuff) is Undertow from their new album. Wow, now that would be great job! :lol:

LOL, see MG.....it's not that I dislike the song, and happy it went #1 in 15 countries.....but on the other hand that right there is why I'm not very fond of TBWY too. Arrrgggg, they are sooooo much more than that commercial/radio hit. Have some great songs in their catalogue!

Been a GREAT year-long run................ending this month in Indonesia!

Not only did one of my favorite band's re-unite with all original members, but I finally got to see them live (TWICE)! Hope everybody had a GREAT music year, bring on 2012!!
