Well with Sheen, it's had some great promotion.

I did. I still have it DVRd. It was pretty good, but like you said, not as funny as the Shatner one. My favorite is the Bob Saget roast.

I've been watching the new 2 and a half men by default (can't find anything else on Monday nights that I like) and it's alright. Not nearly as good as having Sheen on there.

There were few great ones too

Jeff Ross: ”Friends, roasters, enablers… lend Mike Tyson your ears.”

Jeff Ross to Sheen: ”If you’re winning this must not be a child custody hearing. The only time your kids get to see you is in re-runs. Don’t you want to live to see their first 12 steps?”

Amy Schumer to Sheen: ”There’s no denying how famous you are. It was international news when you ruined the lives of those two girls living with you, your daughters.”

and of course

Schumer to Sheen: “You’re just like Bruce Willis — you were big in the ’80s, and now your old slot is being filled by Ashton Kutcher.”

Holy crap, that's awesome. Although I'd fill that old slot for sure.

The first half of the first show was one of the best they've ever done, with a dead Charlie still the star of the show. Otherwise, only the Alan vs Jenny McCarthy's character episode has been up to par. I have thought all along they should have made the show more about the Alan and Jake relationship rather than attempt to keep the Charlie and Alan dynamic with a different character.

Sort of like a spin-off show. Either way, I doubt Two and a Half Men will keep going.

Looks like the other character on the show were not even connected anymore. Like their mom, Rose, and even Jake. The only funny cast on this show is Alan. I guess it's time for Charlie to come back. In case, he decided to come back, the writer can easily fix his character coming back from the dead. (i.e he's not really dead because there was no body recovered). Please come back Charlie Sheen. This show is really dead without you. :(

Charlie has already said he was sorry and felt bad about the feud he had with the director/producer Chuck Lorrie. Why don't Lorrie just see he is losing viewers and money and just reintroduce Charlie into the show. Its a guarantee if Charlie came back to the show ratings would go way back up.

Bottom line is the show is dying without Charlie.

6th episode went up  to 15 .5 million  they are still a bit above the average of last season with Sheen(12.5 million). Could it be that, as long as kutcher is naked ,15 million gay men and straight woman will continue to watch this show :?:

That's because without Sheen the show sucks. I watched the first 3 episodes (The 1st two were the introduction of Kutcher's character) and I think I laughed if I was lucky twice.

8th show =14.5 mil at this rate the show is here to stay
Last season with Charlie, averaged 12.5 mil viewers.
This season with Ashton, is averaging 17.75 mil viewers.
Even if you dont count the first 2 shows this season into ths average(28,7 mil and 20.5 mil) they are averaging 15.4 mil an episode.
In all fairness season 8 had 16 episodes and we have only seen 8 from season 9. If they are able to stay above last seasons 12.5 average, i can't see why they wont extend the show to at least another season.

9th show= 14.77 mil viewers
10th show = 15.82 mil viewers

Looks like kutcher is here to stay along with this version of the show.
