Yes Moonie, another great feel good song from this band. I think we could fill alot of bandwidth in this thread with Zac Brown music. A very talented songwriter and group of musicians to boot.

Love this song. One of my favorites by them. Upbeat and catchy as hell! :D

"When you walk that way, do you walk that way for me? Gotta know, or are you just puttin' on a show? Cuz you're everything I want and a little bit more."

From the Streets of Fire soundtrack, Dan Hartman's "I Can Dream About You".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc3Sa4n0rS8

Liked the beat and the melody of this one since it came out in 1984. Just a cool, cruizin song.

I can't believe no-one has posted this one....

Van Halen "Ice Cream Man"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeUzcoAn ... re=related

Couple more that popped into my head this morning...

Time Warp
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPzhYhuQXZY

Twisted Sister "We're Not Gonna Take It" (It's not the song specifically that makes me "feel good" but more the video which plays on the screen in my head whenever I hear this song... and surprisingly, this song gets a helluva lot of airplay for some reason.)

GMTA Deb!!  When I did the search on YT for "I Can Dream..." the results page was riddled with a bunch of those stellar 80's movie songs. Eddie & the Cruisers, St. Elmo's Fire, Breakfast Club, etc. After I posted here, I sauntered back over to the results page and went all nostalgic and shit for about 45 mins. or so!

I just can't get my head around the fact that the 80's was 30 years ago! :( All the memories and events that took place - the significant and not-so significant, I can recall as if they were just a few years ago. It makes me wonder if the events of my younger years were that much better and memorable than anything I've done in the past 20 years or so...... hmmmm.......

Two more that have been in constant rotation in my setlist for years and years...

Phil Collins' version of "You Can't Hurry Love"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_GervcHrdI

and

Steve Perry, "I Stand Alone"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIG2GX3u6Xc (I bought the movie on DVD just for the vid of Steve performing it with full orchestra. 8) :) )

And just for good measure...

Tracy Ullman's ode (or parody  ) to true love, "They Don't Know About Us" (Love how she ends up with Paul McCartney at the end of the vid. )

My ultimate feel-good song from the past decade. Great catchy melody, harmonies, and really nice guitar solo two-thirds of the way through. It always puts me in a good mood.

Oh man! This one came on the radio today and took me right back to 1988. Great, great dance tune. In addition to being a "feel good" song, this one is also on my list of "driving tunes". Fun to drive to and soothes the savage beast within when traffic is making you want to go postal!

I think I was on a different track in the 80s than most of you...maybe, I am more R&B than Rock-n-Roll. This one came on the radio yesterday morning - it's one of my feel good songs: Chaka Khan: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6U_hRJHc3eA

Heard this one on the radio today. Hadn't heard it in probably 10 years! Reminds me of the summer between my Junior and Senior year of high school. Can remember driving to the lake with friends just about every day with the windows down, smokin' a J and blasting this song... Not a care in the world. Life was good!

With an opening that goes, "Forty-seven deadbeats livin' in the backstreets..." you can't help but smile and start groovin'!! 8) 8) :D :D

Here's another one that defies motionless listening - so to speak. G'head.... I dare ya to fire up this one and just sit there.... Can't do it can ya?! I was genuinely shocked when I learned that these guys were white.   Just kidding.. They do have waaaaaaaaay too much soul and rhythm for a bunch of crackers!
