Again, my opinion.

No, I totally agree. Check out some of her pre-"transformation" concert pix from the mid-2000s. The ones where she performs in little black bikini bottoms and a glitter bra.

Just more proof that it sucks when a brunette decides to become a blonde.

Agreed! Gotta admit that she did have something going on before the transformation. I wish she would go back. Now, she is ms. yuck.
Just because someone's "act" gets put up on a pedestal by the masses does not make it so....or real.

She was really hot. Why the hell would she let people turn her into that Gaga mess ,now she looks like a coked up drag queen.

Nobody made her change her style. She did it to sell records with the shock and wow factor. I think it's turned out pretty well for her! It's her gimmick that has helped her sell a truckload of albums. She was hot as hell back then though! :D

True. And Lady Starlight, someone she worked with, claimed to have come up with some of the ideas and thus began the transformation from Stephanie to Lady Gaga.

Why do people prefer the shock and wow over this? This is a textbook example of the problems I have with pop music fans.

Well, I suppose people could say the same for Kiss and their outfits, and other examples.

I grew up on pop and Madonna has put out some of the best pop videos ever and few have matched her best like Express Yourself, Like a Prayer, Vogue, Bad Girl. Gaga who started out kind of interesting and fresh with her outfits and cute videos has believed all the hype and become very pretentious. She now wants to be everything in her career and is making many missteps. Her music videos this last album have been convoluted and exhausting. She thinks throwing everything but the kitchen sink in them makes them interesting. Her last video she made a mini movie and directed it herself. The music doesn't come in until two thirds of the way through. I dare you (or anyone) to get through this video all the way to the end.
