Journey's When you love a woman in german television series

Last night the german television series "Der letzte Bulle" ends with Journey Song : when you love a woman. The series plays always hits from the 80's. But Journey? I was surprised they used this song.

The 1996 album "Trial by Fire" generated four singles, with the love song "When You Love a Woman" reaching #1 on Hot Contemporary., proving that Journey could still chart eighteen years after their first chart success. This song was nominated for a Grammy Award

I think that it came in second to a Beatles song. Not too shabby.

Why not a Journey song?

and with a little promotion and Steve being a little more cooperative if they were set to release either Still she Cries or Just the Rain, with a video and promotion would have been another big hit.

When you love a Woman is a great song, one of Journey's best written ballads. This song was a huge hit in 1996-1997, but you hardly ever hear it on the radio anymore. This song should be in regular rotation on all mainstream radio stations, just as "Faithfully" "Open Arms" and "Whos Crying Now" are.

I believe Journey is pretty popular in Germany? Always wondered how many records they have sold there.

WYLAW is one of my top two fav songs ever.
If you weren't already in love w/SP, you are now, 1996ixers.
His soulful vox reach right into your soul through your mouth and down your throat
and rips your heart to shreds.
Neal's guitar, the piano, drums ...it was the most PERFECT
Journey moment ever.
I have always said, anything is possible with this song ...and
Marvin's Let's Get It On ...they're like an extremely large dose
of alcohol ...you know, when you stop before you puke!!
