Sad news indeed! I have one of his prints as well. Such a talented artist who inspired many. I loved how he used light in his paintings.

Wow, only 54. RIP.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

He painted my basement bathroom. Very good with a roller.

I liked the paintings for wall art. He does not paint all his paintings. He has guilds do it. Kind of like Bob Ross or any other artist who goes very commercial. I am sorry for his family. My mother in law loves his paintings though.

He was not revered well in the art world. You should read some of the reviews.  I am sure though he laughed all the way to the bank. Got to give it to him for marketing abilities! :D

Love Tk's work ....
Most of his works don't work well w/my decor; however, I had to
have an Autumn on Mackinac Island print when I saw it.
I loved hearing about what inspired his pieces and his work left
me awestruck ...beautiful!!
Very, very shocking and sad. RIP Thomas Kinkade
