Joe Bonamassa- "Driving towards the Daylight"

Postby maverick218 » Sat May 26, 2012 1:42 am

Just picked up his new CD, dang this guy just flat out rocks-my new favorite axe man. If you like blues based rock, do yourself a favor and pick up the new cd - digital version on amazon for $9.99.
It's interesting to me that he did a cover of "Too Much Ain't Enough Love" with Jimmy Barnes (who originally did it with Neal)

That's a cd I think I'm going to have to pick up. Sounds pretty good from what I've heard of it. Guy's certainly got some talent on the guitar.

re: Jimmy Barnes....I'm guessing the connection is that Barnes just finished recording a Cold Chisel cd with Kevin Shirley, who also produced the Bonamassa album. Of course, Joe got Chisel guitarist Ian Moss up to jam the last time he was in Australia, so I guess he must have been aware of Barnes prior to this. Guess this would be the JB/JB song.
