Slovakia's Got Talent

Not sure how much.... but they've got this 12 yr. old Malmstein-esque kid who's supposedly only been playing for 2 years. Either way, this kid's got some priiiittty nifty shredding abilities.

Slovakia is an interesting place. I was in Brataslava playing some recitals in the mid 90s. The women are off the hook beautiful, but don't wear deoderant. Nice people though. Sad to see Slovokia is becoming Americanized. It still had some real culture when I was there. The kid is good for his age, but everything he played wasn't that hard. I was expecting to hear Black star or Trilogy Suite, but got ACDC and Ozzy. Electric guitar can be learned at a high level in just a few years with talent and deliberate practice so hearing young people play well is pretty common. If he played Bach's BWV 1006a, I would be more impressed. Thanks for posting this.

Some other lads just having fun at school talent show. It is good to see that some of the music of our older generation is still tasty to some of the youngsters out there.

Haha! That was pretty cool. However, if I was going to do a shred-off with someone, I definitely wouldn't confine myself to solely Angus Young! His guitar riffs are unmistakeable and instantly identifiable don't get me wrong. He's just not the world's most talented and prolific guitarist if ya know what I mean.

I like this one, myself. Kid gets absolutely owned at this school talent comp. Funny as Hell!

Then there's this 10 yr. old playing Crazy Train on stage with Ozzy. I swear the guitar is taller than the kid playing it! He does a Helluva job though!
