So I guess this means that Six Flags now has the first gay roller-coaster.
I wonder if this will make some guys feel insecure about saying, "I can't wait to ride The Green Lantern!"

It's the Golden Age Alan Scott GL they rebooted.

Notice how they took one of their less (or least) popular characters and made him ghey?

Right... they hinted it would be a major character, not one of thousands of GL Corps members, and from an alternate universe at that.

This is just stupid - if they really needed to have a gay superhero, they should have started with a brand new entity - and let them stand on his own merits - I actually liked the Green Latern movie, I doubt this will help with a second one getting made

One has nothing to do with the other.

The movie was prepackaged to have a sequel swing into production before it was even released, but they shitcanned it because of the disappointing box office.

They should have blamed themselves, as the script needed serious retooling. I didn't think it was that bad of a movie, myself. Parallax should not have been a huge roving mass of diarrhea.

My problem with the whole thing is this.

If the gay people want a gay comic book hero, make their their own. Don't take one that has a long history, plus two kids and make him GAY.... come on.Makele you own and give him a history. The whole comic industry ireallyly started to suck.

If it's the Green Lentern, maybe they'll change his name to the Blew Lantern.

I saw the Soto/Martel show last night (and that is what it really is)

Outstanding!

The chick singer was good, not too much on the 4th singer who looks like Ross from "Friends" though.

Great value for the ticket price. It's worth your time to check it out.
