Ya know, after listening to it half a dozen times now, the part where he sings, "I was a child lost and alone, Look at me now, this child has grown..." for some reason totally reminds me of Jeremy. He should cover this one. He would nail this one!! Oh Jeremy.......? Are you reading this thread?

.. gonna be a while before J sings in that range...

Right now our plans our to continue fulfilling the dates we had booked when I was on schedule to return to singing by summer time. The actual condition of my voice right now has very little to do with my surgeries (although having 2 vocal cord surgeries in an 8 week timeframe has to fundamentally change the landscape of such a delicate balance of tissues). The reality is my voice is still closing down once I reach a certain pitch while singing. It's not raspy, it's not strained and it doesn't break...It just closes off, like someone has put a hand around your throat. This can be worked through with lots of muscle/physical therapy...The reality is, after working through a muscle injury like that for however long it may take (6 months, a year?), the opportunity for Frontiers to be viable as we once were a year ago slips away. Many other Journey tributes come into the picture and book rooms we've been playing for years, and we essentially go back to starting over again. I'm not making any announcements or declarations about the future of the band right now, but I will say that I'm looking at lots of different options to stay in the business and continue working in my area of expertise.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
