Billy Moore's audition - The X Factor 2012

http://youtu.be/U1hTNgYZ9u0

Watch as Billy Moore fails to hit the right notes with his quirky take on Don't Stop Believing by Journey...

He planned his audition with military precision; chicken sandwiches for refuelling and a winter coat in case the temperatures dropped. Sadly, though, things didn't quite go to plan. Want out advice? Don't jacket in just yet. Boom, boom!
Perry's good natured bonhomie & the world’s most charmin smile, knocked fans off their feet. Sportin a black tux, gigs came alive as he swished around the stage thrillin audiences w/ charisma that instantly burnt the oxygen right out of the venue.TR.com

Never take a knife to a gunfight........Journey tunes sound easy until you sing them.....then live inside the melody and hope emotion dont take over....Nobody really knows what a good singer goes through.......In the end of a singing career count on alot of depression and what if's....Then go down memory lane with every song you have ever sang......Then you get to go back to step 1.....depression, what if's, can i do it any more, will the crowd still love me, what if im better than before but not accepted because of the past voice?.......so many things a singer goes through

This singer is going through that now. Unfortunately, judging by his combative online attitude, it seems like he doesn't quite realize that the party is close to over.

Seriously, with Meat Loaf, he's solely counting on him being MEAT LOAF. It's not working. Now I admit that last year, as I mentioned at the time, I saw him the week before I went to the Journey show. He sings slower and sometimes behind the music, out of breath alot. The Audience had it right. Still I enjoyed him better than his opening act. And that was Blue Oyster Cult. Meh. I just wanted to see the old guy once in my life, and I got a free makeout with my tenth grade sweetheart in the process.

I saw him recently too. His voice is shot, but the band is tight and Meat puts on a good show. But some of the noises coming out of his throat these days make you stand back and laugh or go WTF. And hey, at least he's not lipping.

Where are you reading that TNC? I just bought his "Hell in a Handbasket" cd for my wife, listened to it and was pretty underwhelmed.

Patti Russo and the band are very tight, yes! It was a good show. I just shrug and think that if he can tour and wants to keep doing it, more power to him.

Handbasket is fairly low key and stripped back after the massive rock operas of Bat 3 and Teddy Bear, but it's got some good tunes. Meat was dismissive of critics after his embarrassing AFL performance, calling them "butt sniffers" among other things. He also constantly brags about how the songs are in the same key as the original albums when performed in concert. Which may be true, but he can no longer hold a note for shit. He also posts over on one of the Meat Loaf fan websites using the sn "fireball." There, he routinely takes fans and critics to task for pointing out the bitter truth - his voice is kinda gone.
