VAN HALEN AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2013

Van Halen has been announced as the headliner for the Oz Show down under which is called The Stone Music Festival.They are to play the Olympic Stadium in Sydney with guests Def Leppard,Buckcherry and a list of other Australian bands.

Personally i don't think Van Halen has the pulling power to attract 60-80000 at a festival in Australia and i think the promoter will be counting his losses.

I think a Kiss,Bon Jovi,U2 or Springsteen could pull this off but i think VH will struggle.Considering they haven't toured in Australia for over 15 years and that was with Gary Cherone.

How on earth does anybody think that Van Halen with no exposure in Australia at all the last 15 years could pull this off is way beyond me.

Anyway for anybody interested down under it's 179.00 aus dollars for a day pass.

That is when you do pull off sold out shows. It is a rare opportunity to see them. Some of those you mentioned tour much more regularly there and the urgency to see them is not as high.
