(Andrew) Black Country Communion Story

Postby jrnyman28 » Thu Mar 28, 2013 2:39 am

I was surprised by Glenn's comment about Joe not allowing them to use the name. I read a quick article a week or so ago (probably on Blabbermouth or Bravewords) where Joe did say he was done with BCC but that he basically encourages them to continue with another guitarist....

They should enlist another versatile guitarist and carry on.

Two words: Marc Bonilla.

According to what I've read, they've already asked two guitarists and were turned down. Joe alluded to the fact in his interview that all the good LA guitarists were already busy. Glenn is working on a new solo album and Jason and his Led Zeppelin Experience will be out touring with Heart this year on the Heartbreaker tour, so I don't think they're in any hurry anyway.

And they shouldn't be. I'm sure Marc's schedule will clear up at some point. They shouldn't get just any guitarist.

Ritchie Kotzen would be a nice addition for them.

Although I'm more excited about the Billy Sheehan, Mike Portnoy, Kotzen group then I am about BCC. I just don't like Glenn's voice.

The new Niacin album is almost here, too!
