GEORGE JONES R.I.P

The Possum, George Jones, died today at 81. I met him years ago with his wife, Nancy, outside the Sheridan in Lubbock, Texas. He was very gracious and friendly. R.I.P.

Sad news indeed. The end of an era. Nobody sang a country song like George Jones. :(

Very sad....reminds me of my great-grandfather, who was a fan...I heard GJ a lot growing up...RIP. :(

I remember him and Tammy being regular guests on Hee Haw during the early 70s.

I guess He stopped loving her today. I to heard George Jones a lot growing up along with many of the other great

country artist of years ago. He is without a doubt one the the top 3 greatest country artist ever in my book.

RIP No Show Jones.

I never cared much for his singing, but he was a great songwriter. RIP
