The Amazing Spiderman (2012)

Postby Everett » Wed Jun 26, 2013 12:45 pm

Ok so i rented this one last weekend and watched it tonight. I tried to enjoy it
but i missed the original cast the most. I'm not that much a hard core fan of spidey as
i am batman but i have read some of the comics and watched some of the original
cartoon in the 90's. While i'm glad they finally added doc connors as the lizard they
probably could've gone old school with chameleon or electro as one of the villians. Anyway
i'll quit rambling now it's just the beer talking

Didn't like it. Needless remake. Should've let Raimi atone for Spidey 3, and make a decent fourth installment.

I've would've liked another film with Raimi and Maguire, too. SM3 wasn't entirely Raimi's fault, but Arad's. The script was done and then he was forced to insert Venom into the story and things fell apart.
