What, that 2-spot that Jacksonville put on the board the other day doesn't inspire that confidence in their ability to bring home the big eagle?

Dallas at Kansas City i think this one could go either way and out of all the games in week two this one is one of the hardest for me to figure out.On the one hand i really like the way Dallas and Kansas City played in their week one victories but if i had to guess i'd lean toward K.C. simply for two reasons. The first reason is Arrowhead is never an easy place for visitors to play and the second reason is Andy Reid knows Dallas really well from playing them twice a year in Philly.

San Francisco at Seattle in the Sunday nighter and both of these teams are heavy favorites to win the NFC.I really like the way San Francisco pulled out the victory against a quality Green Bay squad meanwhile Seattle got out of Carolina by the skin of their teeth. From what i've seen so far i would not be surprised to see the 49ers go up to Seattle and grab a victory. Then again Seattle did have numerous players out last week on the defensive side of the ball.Going to be loud up in Seattle but the Seahawks will have to bring their A game to pull out a win.

Denver at N.Y. Giants a lot of people are calling this a trap game and one where Denver could slip up if they are not careful. After all its the Manning Bowl where both brothers will be trying to prove their team is better.Denver is without Von Miller and lost Elvis Dumervil in free agency so that defense is not what it once was.Having to travel to the east coast is something else Denver must deal with.Brandon Jacobs was signed once again to run the ball for the Giants after David Wilson had issues with fumbles and holding on to the ball.I have to go with Denver in this one BUT i wouldn't be shocked at all if N.Y. pulled off the upset.

Detroit at Arizona well last year if this two would've met i would've easily gone with Detroit but Arizona has changed a lot in one season and for the better. The cards upgraded at QB and Carson Palmer will make this offense much better but the big thing in Arizona is how good the defense will be.I do expect to see plenty of points scored in this one especially now that Detroit has Reggie Bush. However in the end i think Arizona will pull this one out.

Washington at Green Bay well i hate to see the Redskins dig themselves into a 0-2 hole to start the new season and RGIII second year but i just can't see the Pack falling into an 0-2 hole especially in their home opener.I see the Packers with the victory.

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati this is a division game and i also would not count Pittsburgh out by no means. The Steelers signed Fernando Velasco at center days after Tennessee cut him but only because Tennessee had good depth at that position.Velasco replaces Pouncey who was injured in the game against Tennessee and Velasco was rated one of the top centers in the league last year so they got a good replacement. The Steelers will feel strange facing James Harrison now with Cincy after failing to get paid what he wanted in Pittsburgh.Like i said this is a division game and the Steelers are also fighting to stay out of an early 0-2 hole.Cincinnati at this point has the advantage but they have slipped before so it will be a good one to watch.

Tennessee at Houston i watched the entire game the other night and Houston was fighting from behind until the last quarter then the slammed back from a 21-point deficit in the second half for a 31-28 victory over the Chargers on Monday night. Both teams are 1-0 but Tennessee has not had much luck recently against Houston not to mention the defense gave Titans QB Jake Locker a lot of problems and he ended up injuring his shoulder in last years game. This season Tennessee is better on both sides of the ball and Locker will also get better protection from the revamped line which now includes first rounder Chance Warmack, free agent addition and pro bowler Andy Levitre, another free agent Rob Turner, pro bowler Michael Roos and David Stewart. The offensive line is different, way stronger and much better than last seasons for Tennessee and a much stronger rushing attack lead by Chris Johnson and free agent additions Shonn Greene and Jackie Battle. The defense is now being coached up by Gregg Williams and while they were near last in defense last year they are near the top so far this year.Houston has the upper hand the last couple seasons in their matchups with Tennessee and since they are at home i think they will get a victory but it will be a close one.

San Diego at Philadelphia i do think that Philly will have success on offense this week just like they did in their opener. It will be rough on the Chargers because they are traveling a couple thousand miles to the east coast which is always hard on any team that has to travel that far a distance.I bet no one had Philadelphia starting out 2-0 but chances are good they will do it.

St. Louis at Atlanta i will say this even though Atlanta is one of the best teams in the league they better not overlook the Rams who i think are going to be pretty good this season. The last couple seasons Jeff Fisher former coach of Tennessee went to free agency and got one of Tennessee best players not only on defense in Cortland Finnegan but also on offense with Jared Cook and sure enough both players played huge roles in the Rams victory last week.Atlanta signed RB Steven Jackson who spent his whole career in St. Louis before this season.I do think Atlanta will pull out a victory but it will be a very close hard fought game.

Other than maybe one bad ball, pretty surprised to see Geno Smith making every throw out there. Didn't get a chance to see him play last week but he's head and shoulders above where Mark Sanchez ever was imo. A few rookie mistakes in feeling pressure, but that comes with time.

I agree.I do think he is going to be the Jets QB and Sanchez will be looking for another team.Ironically it would be pretty crazy if the Jets get above .500 and Smith saves Rex Ryan from getting fired considering how much support Sanchez gets from his head coach.

One of the missing elements that has helped Sanchez his first few years is the lack of a hard-nosed running game. That helps a rookie out a ton. Smith had nice pockets, though. He'll throw his share of picks as he did, but he's very accurate when he's not forcing things or lacking pocket awareness.

There's no logic for a brand new week of football. Week 2 is the hardest week to pick 8) Who's going to bounce back; who's going to crumble and who should remain supreme? Tough turnaround.

Good D. The Bengals front 4 alone should get to Ben early and often if the Steelers don't find a way to come up with a gameplan to open up the playbooks creativity, especially with a newly signed center just this past week making the start. Though the Titans ran the ball last week against the Steelers, that was more of a product by the Steelers offense being so bad that left a tired defense out to dry by staying off the football field.

The Titans only averaged about 2.1 yards on 42 carries and held home-run hitter Chris Johnson at bay. BGE is more of a move the chains type-back so if the Steelers offense finds some ways to complete first downs, control the clock and score a few more points than week 1, BGE should only rush for 55 yards or under at best since I see Dalton challenging the Steelers secondary, most notably 2 TE's.

GREAT week deuce. Ton of good games...tight in the pickems that go either way. Even a few 1 point games. Had KC over Dal and Buff over Car but had Minny over Chi, that's a bummer but great games. Tenn/Houston duking it out.

The Niners stomped themselves for 3 quarters, then Seattle decided to stomp some more. I'm so tired of the Niners adding 100 yards to their game each week with stupid, completely avoidable penalties. I am not sure I can take another year of this up and down performance. Brilliant team one week, shit team the next. It's very frustrating. Far more so than when they were just a shitty team.

Kapernick keeps this up and his new name will be "Crapernick"...

a 20.1 QB rating for that game...

Let's see how his predecessor, the "game manager" did..

Alex Smith QB rating against the Cowboys.... 95.0

Hmmmm. Not saying it was a great game, of course. But this is silly. I like Alex and hope he does well. Pulling for him all the way. And time will tell how well Kap will do. I hated the change when it happened, though I am sold now. You are comparing a long-time QB with someone that has less than a dozen starts. And where was this comparison last week? Will you do the same next week? And are you comparing the Cowboys to Seattle? I mean, seriously? Did you forget to include information on our missing starters and the ones that went down mid-game?

The Niner's screwed it up but kept it close for three full quarters. Than they got really stupid and sloppy trying to play catch up in the fourth. Would have liked to see more discipline. But comparing this one game to one other game and saying he'd be called Crapernick is a bit of a stretch, no?

Love Lynch. My favorite back in the league. Tough runner...beast mode. Violent. Dependable. All in what you want from a feature back. I've been saying it for awhile. Seattle, in Prime Time, at Home is just GROSS. They just kick it up to another level and is just admirable. When the opposing team needs to use hand signals because of the noise, that's special. Though teams like Denver are scoring crazy points and in an age where Chip Kelly's offense is here in the NFL, Seattle is still the team I love to watch in primetime. Guys like Richard Sherman and the attitude they bring to that defense is stellar.

Definitely agree with ya on Lynch if i could pick any back in the league to put on our team it would be him without a doubt. That one run he had in the playoffs against New Orleans was one of my favorite ever by a running back and he would not be denied on that play.I have Seattle going to the Super Bowl in the NFC this season and if they get home field in the playoffs they will be very tough to beat.
