His voice sounds pretty strong, another from that show.

The band is nuts if they don't take him out on the road and let him do a couple of songs, or as many as he feels like doing. If Lou wants to do that.

One of my favorite Foreigner songs.
Brings tears to this hardened man, seeing Lou sing it like he did back in the 80's also does.
He truly does sound great on all these clips.

I really hope Lou and the band can get back together for one more tour. I dream I had for Journey which is gone.

Be nice if Mick and Lou collaborated for one more time...

I hate that he lost his voice, and while he sounds a bit better, he's still way too weak to front his old band. The only way I see this happening is out of pity and I just don't think either side would be happy with that type of a decision .

Agreed but he's good enough at this point to do some guest spots. Since it may only hold out for a year or two they should capitalize on it.

If he did three songs per show, just having him on the bill would increase Foreigner's ticket sales. Its amazing he's worked himself back to this point but he had one of the best voices to start with. Muscle memory?

That brought a little tear to my eye. I'm still so much of a Loune. ;) I love how the band follows his timing. He's amazing. Thank you for posting, AR.

Wow...That's the best I've him sound on that song since the "Mr. Moonlight" tour.

Knowing what Gramm has gone through in his life really got to me when he sang this verse...
"In my life there's been heartache and pain
I don't know if I can face it again
Can't stop now, I've traveled so far
To change this lonely life"

Here's Lou a couple weeks after the Denver clips above. Sound quality isn't great but listen to Lou at the end when the instruments quiet down, round 4:00 to the end. He sounds good.

I love Lou Gramm and am still rooting for him. Here he is in classic form...

Lou and Mick reunited for an award just a few months ago, and they performed together at the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

He sounds damn good there... better than a few years ago when someone posted clips of his solo tour.
They got inducted into the Songwriters' HOF?
Hey, does SP/JC/NS have a chance? Wouldn't it be something if the 3 of them get to do the same? Get two female backup singers (like with Lou there) to help on the high notes ... but skip the gospel ladies at the end (haha)

No.

Why don't you think so, Rip? They have written enough good songs, right?

That first one is from the Mexico City show from their "Mr. Moonlight" tour in '95-'96. Somewhere around here I've got a DVD that someone burned for me with the entire show on it. Great Show.

Found another clip from 6/29/13. Recording quality not great but Lou sounds really confident here.

Double Vision (at 4:00)

Note: Lou's on at 4:00. I tagged the link to start there but it doesn't always work.

So....I'm a big Lou fan, but I really doubt adding him to the current lineup would do very much for current sales. Not in this musical landscape anyway.

Lou's looking good, and sounding better than he has in years. Hope we get another great album out of this jukebox hero. Huge fan of Midnight Blue.
