I have NEVER written ANYWHERE on this message board MY OPINION on bootlegs, or for that matter, Journey (before, during and after Steve Perry).

I was thanking NealRocks for something totally different.

Look before you leap.

In that case, you have my sincere appologies Liz.
It was the way that you followed the 'Neal Rocks' post with what you said, and it looked that way to me.

I shall 'look before i leap' next time round.

Once again appologies to you.

OldJourney wrote:It IS stealing. What part of "these were ILLEGALLY recorded (aka "stolen") in the first place, therefore they are HOT property," don't you understand? Are you DENSE? ................

boot·leg ( P ) Pronunciation Key (btlg)
v. boot·legged, boot·leg·ging, boot·legs
v. tr.

1. To make, sell, or transport (alcoholic liquor) for sale illegally.

2. To produce, distribute, or sell without permission or illegally: a clandestine outfit that bootlegs compact discs and tapes.

You still don't get it, do you?

mystichealer wrote: No i am not 'DENSE' as you put it. I am just living in the year 2004 , and quiye clearly you are NOT.

I await your next insult with great interest!!!!!!!!!!!!MH

I do not come here to insult. Come to think about it, I don't come here to GET insulted either. I posted facts, about the LAW, which you obviously don't care about. So typical for the year 2004.

No, I don't have any bootlegs. Some of us can still live in 2004, AND live by the LAW at the same time. So sorry to disappoint you, but then, you will likely call me a liar again. Be my guest.....

To the above I would like to add the definition of "Distribute," as in "To produce, distribute, or sell without permission or illegally."

1. To divide and dispense in portions.

2. a. To supply (goods) to retailers.
b. To deliver or pass out: distributing handbills on the street

We can also add the definition for "Desperate," which is what you are.

1. Reckless or violent because of despair: a desperate criminal.

2. Nearly hopeless; critical: a desperate situation.

3. Suffering or driven by great need or distress: desperate for recognition.

It's as easy as A-B-C.....Did you get PERMISSION to record, distribute, or receive these bootlegs? Yes OR No?? It's not a trick question.
You are dense, or pretending to be, because you still don't get it.
