You are a classic example of why I'll never respect any Florida fan. You can't even intelligently argue sports! Just because the Red Sox went 86 years, without winning a World Series doesn't make their history "pathetic". They are one of the most storied franchises in ALL of sports! They have had some of the most legendary players who have ever played baseball wear a Red Sox uniform. Who is Tampa's most significant player??? Carlos Pena (a castoff from the Red Sox, I might add)! Furthermore, Red Sox fans are legendary, when it comes to supporting their team...win, lose, or draw! Also, just because the Red Sox went so long without winning a championship doesn't mean that they weren't fielding a competitive team! The Red Sox have almost always been contenders (with the exception of the early 80's), and I couldn't tell you the last time that they came anywhere near finishing last! The Rays have finished dead last in 9 of the past 10 seasons, and the only season they didn't finish last, they finished second to last! This season is the one and only season in their entire history that they actually didn't lose more games than they won! Unlike some, I actually don't think the Rays' season has been a fluke. They have a very good, young team and a superb pitching staff. This just further illustrates how dreadful their fans are. Most cities in America would get behind a team who has been in first place for most of the season, and the dreadful Tampa fans gave that team zero support, during the season. Sure...they'll come out in droves, now they they've made it to the ALCS, but even Atlanta fans do that! I actually feel sorry for the Rays, because I'm sure they'd like to be getting a lot more support than what has been showed!

This is a stupid excuse that couldn't be less valid! The Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, and Florida Marlins all came into the league around the same time as the Rays. Not one of those other teams has the pathetic record of the Rays. The Rays are also the only team of that group to get nowhere near the World Series (prior to this season).

I know you haven't been there before, so don't really know how to act, but I can assure you that NOTHING that happened during the regular season has ANY bearing, whatsoever, on what will happen over the next week and a half! If the Rays beat the Red Sox (and they should), it will be because they have a more talented team...not because of some "mind control" (or whatever the hell you're talking about), regarding home field!

Are you brain-dead???? You obviously know absolutely NOTHING about Fenway Park! Let me enlighten you. Up until 10 years ago, Fenway had the smallest seating capacity of any park in the majors, at just over 33,000. As of today, the capacity is just under 40,000, with 39,928, and there are 4 stadiums in the majors that are smaller than that. For the record, that's about 6000 more seats than that shithole Tropicana Field has! Even with my shitty math skills, I can figure out that they have figured out "how to erect more seating", to the tune of 6500 additional seats! You've obviously never been anywhere near Fenway, because you would understand that just adding seats to a ballpark that is literally in the middle of a neighborhood isn't as easily accomplished as you seem to think it is. That makes the additional 6500 seats even more remarkable!

Don't blow your load just yet, Skippy! Even if the Rays win it all, I can assure you that there is no "new beast in the east". The Yankees and Red Sox will re-load, and the Rays will go back to toiling away in obscurity, in a city that really doesn't give a fuck what they do!

Cleveland Browns fans are actually great fans, and always have been. They never deserved to have their team stolen from them and I was glad that they got another team. As for basketball and baseball, their fans do suck. They couldn't sell out a baseball game to save their life, prior to Jacob's Field being constructed. They seem to have some support for the basketball team, but that will instantly fade, as soon as LeBron heads to the Knicks in two years! Cleveland definitely isn't a major sports town like Chicago, New York, and Detroit, but I still don't think their fans are as bad as fans from Florida, Los Angeles or in any part of Georgia!
