Deano, you didn't even mention that they have a picture of Augeri and say it's Neal!

Most people are not used to another band member playing guitar on stage with Journey! :D

And I think this is just a way to keep people interested in the music they are playing. That intro will make people familiar with Tom Sawyer listen to Nickel and Dime for the reference. It is a wise move to intro as much of the pre-Perry and "Generations" stuff as possible.

I agree 100%. However, They are down to only 3 Gens songs now..Out of Harms Way, Every Generation and Faith...They seem to be leaving Place behind..wtf??

Now THAT is an avatar Deano!!

It sucks that Journey is down to 3 new songs. As I said before, I think 5 is the magic number! But I would also like to see a 2nd leg to this tour featuring the "hits" and Generations without so much early material. Although I would love them to keep in ONE track like Spaceman!!

Good find, ROckN. I am slightly ebarrased that this came out of PSU. Augier a dead ringer in sound AND LOOKS? LOOKS? Er....whatever.

I love Neal's new height, perm and slender look as well. Though the camerea ADDED 10 lbs.

I think the guy, though underinformed was sincere. I don;t think there's bad blood with Neal/Rush, jut making a fun point.

3 Gens is not bad but they should get TPIYH back in right away, maybe In Slef Defense and Out Of harms Way, too.

Well, you took the time to walk in those landmines and abscond with it so a find, nevertheless.

Paterno called me up after and said the pre-THE VOICE  stuff and Generations material smoked.

He's gonna get the album and play In Self Defense in the lockeroom before games now.

Bullshit. Paterno is so old he couldn't hear Journey much less listen to them. He better do more than play a rock song inthe lockerroom... He better recruit, and he better win....sooner rather than later.

10-2 in '05 losing to No-Show-Job State on a late fg and Wisconsin.
New Year's Day win over Florida.

Can't hear, dude he's in better shape than both of us combined and his discerning ear told me Neal plays both rythm AND lead on FITH and TPIYH.

Aside: I love that the writed said Augeri's guitar work was spot on in the first set. It looked cool seeing him with that thing.

Are you completely whacked? High? 10-2?

Back to the music.

Knowing NIG, he will want this post deducted from my total posts for not being Journey related..

Let's see... 921 posts... minus the 324 posts that were strictly battles with the loons (clickety-clack)... minus 192 posts that were strictly sexual matter (clickety-clack)... minus 404 "I hate Troll" posts (clickety-clack)... equals one post. Oh, that was football-related, so that gets deducted as well. Hey, you're a newbie again!

Don't get mad! Just busting balls!

Point taken Deano. No way you could deduct posts where we're logging trigger time defending the sanctity of the board as a place to discuss the entire body of work of the band. When necassary a shepard must take up arms to fend off the damn wolves at the door.

What's scary is that Deano is catching up to me and he has done it in a much shorter time. But then, he does get into some pretty inane conversations...;)

Tom Sawyer sounding like Nickle and Dime? Rush stealing from Journey?

Well, I can't really comment as I don't recall the sound of N&D. I can't even recall the last time I listened to Journey.

Currently, however, let me say I'd take a Rush concert over a Journey concert in an instant.

Then what are you doing replying to this decidedly N&D-related thread?

Oh, I get it now.
