Interesting. Notice NO information at all. Hmm.

I would prolly get it, because I don't see Dallas 2005 seeing a shelf near you anytime.

I am not going to believe there will be an "official" dvd from the band until I see it at suncoast or whereever.
There was suppose to be one from the warfield show in 2003
and we never saw that one.
would be cool if there really was one.

Those freaks at BT want the seller arrested. They are all up in arms. They need to get lives.

Fuck, if I had the money I'd get one.

I love the band, but I have to say that their official site is an embarrassment.

Poor layout, very little info. Instead of embracing the digital age, they seem to be running from it.

And I am willing to bet one of them actually bought one.
What a joke.
If the band would just release one, people wouldn;t
go selling these.,
Heck we have a convention here every month in the spring where they sell cds, vhs.dvds. One of them was selling therm at the mall
outside the gap one holiday season.

What gives you the right to question whether or not someone is a fan or not of the band? Since when do YOU decide what constitutes being a fan? Just because you have 10's of thousands of posts?

And the person you quoted is dead on. If the band did more producing and less promising, I'm sure there wouldn't be people lined up to buy bootlegs.

Now back to being a bad fan.

The fans on here who boot ie Abita, NoMoreTails, me, Niggster, Deano, ArrivalRules, 28, TheNobleBeliever, Liz,ClassicLady, do it because we wanna get our hands on some live music from this band that releases precious few live recordings (especially the real life lineup). Nobody HERE on MR.com is profiting from and that's how it should be done.
I wouldn't give my stuff to people if I thought it'd end up on Ebay.

Will have to admit, I use to sell them on Ebay 4 or 5 years ago, not just Journey, but Styx, and other shows. Didn't have a lot of them, just about 5 shows I keep selling, for 7.00 a piece, shipping included. Then one day, I got an email, from some one claiming to represent Journey. Said I was selling bootleg material that the bad was not making money off of, and that I need to quit, or further action would be taken. BUT, the letter also said that they (Journey?) realized that boots will always be around, and that they will always trade hands. As long I am not making money off their music it was ok.
So I took it as it is ok to trade something for free or cd to cd on the boots, but not to sell. Since then I have not sold a boot, for money, so I could buy more boots. I simply trade, AND IT IS A LOT EASIER THIS WAY TOO. Wish I still had the email, I would let you read it, see if you knew who it was from. But when Katrina came ashore, lost my data in computer :( -ERIC

That's a bit of a "catch 22" - how does one "start" a collection with which to trade without encountering at least a few "profiteers"

8)

btw, I do not sell any bootlegs - but in the pursuit of trading, I like to recoup my mailing expenses and materials whenever possible.

Sadly, even "recouping" expenses is illegal. If even one dollar changes hands, it is illegal.

Eric, I remember when Journey cracked down on bootlegs. Even then, they made it clear that "selling" bootlegs was bad. They did this around the time they released F&B. I am sure they wanted to create a market for the DVD. As long as no money changes hands it is good...
