Anymore clips of JSS with Journey out there?

Postby daytrpr » Fri Jul 14, 2006 1:37 pm

I'm dying to hear/see more clips of JSS singing with Journey, but there don't seem to be too many out there. Anyone? Anyone? Interestingly, there seem to be a ton of recent clips of Deen singing, which are all awesome. We saw them a couple of years ago, and after the show my wife (not a Journey fan...she went to humor me) asked why they didn't just make Deen the lead singer

For the record, based solely on the couple of clips of JSS that I have found, he's clearly got a powerful voice, but it just doesn't have the texture that Augeri's has (okay...had). Good singer...kinda boring voice. Still, amazing that he could take over mid-tour like that...very impressive. Looking forward to hearing more...who's got some?

That voice is far from boring.

Wow! That sounds really good. It seems like Jeff is getting better with each show. At least in this clip I can actually hear Jeff singing as opposed to the flat-pitched cameraman. lol.

Just watched it and I must say I am impressed.

JSS has a really great voice and a good technique, but what I like the most is that he has emotion in his delivery.

I can see him fronting Journey with no problems, although I am still trying to get used to the change of "image".
I mean after Perry and Augeri,JSS is a different type of a rock star.

But,hey,as long as he can do his job and sing, who cares about the jeans?
