Your wheels?

Postby conversationpc » Wed Aug 09, 2006 12:46 pm

OK...I'm bored as heck tonight and have no beer.

What is your main vehicle? Vote and post your specific vehicle.

Mine is a dark green, '99 Dodge Dakota, v8, 5.2L (regular cab). My neighbor calles it a drag racing truck. 8) The new Dakotas look is nasty, in my opinion. They went from the sleek, contoured, sporty look, to a look that is all corners and just ugly.

Unfortunately, there's something wrong with one of the speakers that causes it to distort at high volume OR when the bass is up more than a third of the way...Bad stereos piss me off.

I thought about adding it but you don't see a whole heck of a lot of them on the road anymore...Minivans and SUVs have taken over the highway.

Sadly, I am still driving my Buick Century. It has almost 150K miles on it. I need a new car worse than almost anyone I know.... :( I just have to tough it out about another year. Then I'm home free!!

Well, I'm over 126K on mine and still going strong. Fortunately, we just paid it off and I hope it will last at least another 50K.

I know minivans and suv's are taking over the highways and streets. I don't have the bucks to own one, so I make do with my 93 Ford Escort 5 speed LX wagon. It gets me where I want to go, and is easy on gas too. :D

Hey, you can only choose one!... we have 3/4 depending on the week.

Right now I'm driving the old beast, a classic Electra with a 455. Charitable donations for premium fuel gratefully accepted... the thing only runs on high-test. :? Some days I think we are single-handedly supporting the gas station; they put a $50 cap per transaction and yes, we have been there 3 times a day before. :(
All children left unattended will be given
an espresso and a free puppy.
