Still...I love Black Sabbath with Ian Gillan...which isn't a much-loved era of the band either.

:lol: Not an Ian Gillan fan I take it. Actually, when Gillan first heard the muddy final mix of that album he ripped the cassette out of the car stereo and threw it out on to the road.


Honestly...Sammy Hagar...that guy writes such rock-by-numbers, workaday songs year after year...yet he's hailed as some kind of legend so often. I don't get it...

...although I get this. My favourite Van Hagar song...

I like Sammy's song writing! Thank's for posting that one.....Dream's....I like the song and that was a great video! I saw the Blue Angel's perform once at an air show. It was incredible! 8)

I know :wink:
Nevertheless, there is just something about his voice and the slick 80s style heavy metal that Sabbath cranked out at the time which I just like. When I was about 13, I was heavily into the TYR album.

Anyway, it probably owes a lot to the fact that I...gasp...prefer Dio over Ozzy as lead singer for Sabbath (ducking the incoming rotten tomatoes)! And Martin has a very Dio-esque way of singing.

I don't think that I ever really have given a proper listen to the Born Again album...
