While I drink this beer I'm gonna rant a little.....

So my friend in PA. calls me a few days ago to ask my advise on her soon to be marriage. She's cheated on him a few times with 3 different guys and doesn't feel the way she did for her fiance about a year ago. So I tell her that it's a BAD idea to get married right now (22 days to be exact) and if you don't cancel it AT LEAST postpone it. It wouldn't be the right thing to do considering she's gained a MAJOR interest in one of the guys that she had an affair with. BUT...she's thinking that marriage is an On/Off switch and once she gets married it'll all be different. What she DIDN'T catch from me was the fact that if she's doing this NOW and lying about it....what's it going to be like in a year. I think I know the answer. DIVORCE/ANNULMENT. Sorry to put this in this thread....but I'm really livid right now. I know I shouldn't be....this ain't my life...but I ALSO don't wanna see her ruin hers.

THEN on top of that....talked to Monica a few minutes ago. Guess what THAT was.....A FIGHT. :evil:

Vent anytime! Why do some people think marriage is an On/Off switch? I ran into that myself. I think your advice was dead on. (Not that my .02 matters....)

Being married has it's benifits for the obvious non single
aspects.
Yet being single and then kidless at that.......you my friend
win hands down when it comes to enjoyment and fun.
I just win at the sap heart strings sheet.
