Oh I am in a WHOLE NEW WORLD of HURT..... :shock:

I had my Dance Class yesterday...a "Lyrical" routine ~ which is a LOT of Ballet-style tension, extension, leaping, spinning, etc.

Well, since this is NOT Ballet, but "Ballet" in "attitude", this type of dance is not meant for Capezio "Hip-Hop" shoes...which are very fexible lace-up shoes - these are the ones I have:

it's meant for Ballet slippers, which have suede on the bottom for traction...the Teacher said if we wanted to, we can dance barefoot.

Which I did.

Long story short:

I have a Quarter-size BLOOD BLISTER under the skin of my left foot - it was the "planting foot" for Pirouettes - and after 1 1/2 hours, it took its toll.... :shock:

My feet were ON FIRE....and I could barely WALK!

...ahhh....thank GOD for Chianti.... :wink:

Well...BEER obviously (Right now it's Stella and Moosehead. Thanks Moon and Deano for the suggestions) As far as Liquor...Jack N' Coke, NY Mother Fuckers, Tanquray(sp?) 10 and Tonic. That's all I can think of right now.

CHILTON--Fill a salt rimmed cocktail glass with ice. Pour in vodka and add lemon juice. Fill with club soda. i love these things!!! its similar to a TOM COLLINS (gin),,

A NY Mother Fucker is 1/4oz each (Although with mine...I'm heavy handed. lol) of Jack, Crown, SoCo, Amaretto. Fill Sweet N' Sour and splash coke in a 16oz glass.

Faves-
Dry vodka martini w/ 3 olives, chocolate martini, apple martini, watermelon martini. I'm not 'dirty' like Lori

Shots- Irish car bomb, surfer on acid, good tequilla.

Beer- Sam Adams (most all), Red Tale Ale, a few micro brews, and of course Stella Artois

.

Wine- Reds- zin, cab, pinot, syrah- some good Austalian wines out there. Not a big fan of white, but some work.

I'm sure I've left some out :lol:
