NP: Egyptian Danza ~ Al DiMeola

The video for this song is fairly poor quality but it still gives you an idea just how good a guitarist this guy is. Amazing.

Stern is boring. The thing is, he's actually funny when he isn't doing the oft-overdone sex jokes and fooling around. It's old hat now, Stern. Get some new material.

NP: Turn it on Again ~ Genesis

This was the start of the schlock-pop version of Genesis but I still like this one and a few others from the 80s, but nowhere near their 70s output.

I don't have the "...And Then There Were Three" album but the songs I've heard from it aren't as bad as that one. My favorite Genesis album is "Selling England By the Pound", followed closely by "Wind & Wuthering".

 Never cared much for it...

Let's gay it up some more with this next one...Well, the lead singer is gay, but the song kicks ass. The original video for this song was definitely gay but this live version is great.

Oh..come now...that song is superb...in a bland sort of way...

My favourite Genesis album is "Selling England By the Pound", followed closely by "Wind & Wuthering".

I like "Wind and the Wuthering" too...it was a transitional album...like "Trick of the Tail"... wasn't it? My favourite is probably "Genesis" from '83...

Yeah, the self-titled album I actually really like. However, "Invisible Touch" I thought was a flop, though there are a couple of good moments on there.

The link for the video is actually to the version done by Journey tribute band Lights. The lead singer is Juan Del Castillo, with Jeff Vincent on keys. I've posted this here a couple of times and I can't get enough of it.
