Are you starting to feel better yet? My wife is on a second schedule of antibiotics for bronchitis, she's still not feeling very well. We thought hard and long about whether or not to take a ski trip, and went ahead and went, but I think that was a mistake. Not only did it not help her condition, she hurt her back on the first run. We skied half a day and left.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

I am feeling LOTS better. It was all about finding the RIGHT antibiotic. Can't drink because I am finishing up my 3rd round of antibiotics. The 3rd time was the charm!! :) What part of TX are you in?

Moon - I think I'll finish the meds on Fri. Will probably have a celebratory drink then! If not then, Saturday when I'm out celebrating another friend's b-day. 8)

Not sure this the right place for this, but got this little poem via email. I think it's a cute one.

Cleaning Poem

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer "yes."

He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.

I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick...
I was just admiring my work...
I didn't mean to 'click.'

But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site
That I got SO way into...
I was into it all night.<<Sigh>>

Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney.

One of my best friends lives in The Colony. Was up there last fall. Did you get a lot of snow last month?

We've had more occasions of snow and sleet than usual, but it never amounted to much. I feel sorry for the folks in other parts of the US, they've had more than they can handle.

Definitely. My friend in The Colony had so much on her house when she took a pic - it looked like a Christmas card. I told her to Photoshop herself and her hubby in the pic to use this year. LOL!

Wow, I live about 15 minutes from The Colony and didn't get much to look at. TX weather is weird like that.

The Papa John's here put 2 Pepperoncini peppers with the pizza. I love those.

Well our conversation about Pulp Fiction gave me the idea, so it had something to do with you. Not a jab though.
