Speaking of "stupid"- It's "you're" not "your", it's "how's" and not "hows", it's also "don't" not "dont".

I know what it is
The grammer posts are ditch efforts move on.

Here's my issue with your statement: JY could have done this many, many times in the past. They caved in 1979/1980. In fact, the 1981 agreement the classic 5 signed was pretty fair all around. Everyone made money.
Now, I saw the contract they signed in 1991. You would not say what you did if you saw what they signed. JY also was happy in 96/97 when the money was coming in.
Fast forward to some time between February, 1999 and May, 1999. While the seeds of discontent were sown prior, that's when it all came to a head because if you go by the TS 7DZ Borders tour where DDY showed up in 1998, all seemed just fine. We're literally talking about a 6 - 8 month window when it all completely fell apart.

By the way, it's "grammar" not "grammer". I figured if you learned it once it wouldn't need to be repeated.
However, I must remember that sometimes "challenged" people need to hear things more than once.
Your stupidity has been challenged by more than just me little fellow. Invest in a spell checker so even
though you may sound like a complete psychotic idiot, you won't look like an illiterate psychotic idiot.
Just trying to help.
I don't understand your need to be nasty to those that disagree with you Froy. It's just a forum and it's just
a band that had their heyday 20 years ago. However, you act like YOU'RE Dennis or in his family or something.
Why is this so emotional for you?
(serious question)

Everyone's entitled to their opinion and I don't care if you're a TS cocksucker or a DDY bootlicker lol, but when these threads break down into this stuff at this point makes it hard to want to post. A lot of us long timers to this situation have to wade through 1000 posts to find something to respond to. It's old. I know to some posting on message boards is like a competition sport, but after 8 years of this, I've had it. This whole topic has been reheated a billion times over.

but Ted was way over the top. I have NEVER seen any musician trying so hard to get attention and BE the center of attention. EVER. And I have been to a lot of concerts.
That was Just my opinion, and the 4 people who were watching it with me too. Ted was annoying as hell. I thought the way they dragged him off stage at the end was appropriate.
They should have pried his guitar out of his hands and beat him with it too!
And I'm sorry, but If I had been at one of the shows where he shot his stupid Bow and Arrow through a STYX logo, I would have gotten thrown out of the concert for heaving my beer in his face!!
cittadeeno23 wrote:That's pretty cool. I never would have figured that from watching him. I guess you can't tell a book by it's cover.
Tommy does say nothing but nice things about him. I guess seeing Tommy on stage with a band other than Styx bothered me more than I thought! But Ted was really all over the place and seemed to me like he was craving all the attention. But if he is a nice guy, then that's all that matters. But I still don't like the Bow and arrow routine through the Styx logo! That was cold, even if it was meant as a joke. NOT FUNNY.
By the way, when I met John Panozzo in 1991 he was the same way. I kept saying "I better let you go" but he just kept chatting away. What a nice guy he was.

I would have thought this too but in 90 or 91 we went backstage to meet the band. Ted was the nicest of them all and stayed and talked to my brother and I for over TWO HOURS after the show. Jack was around maybe a half hour, Tommy was gone after one picture and was backstage less than 5 minutes. Kudos to Ted for showing us some respect and talking to us that long when he didn't have to. We kept saying "if you gotta go, go" but he said "I enjoy chatting with you guys let's hang out for a while".
Ted is just... well TED.

It's from maybe 2000 or so. Someone from VH1 told me they were hesitant to ask Dennis because of Ted being there, but Dennis said, "I have no problem with Ted . . . he doesn't even know me." So they booked them both, and before the show, Dennis and Ted had a nice chat in the green room and wound up getting along really great. Ted had only ever heard Tommy's side of things and just went with it . . . but you have to realize that in 1999-2000 DY was supposed to get together, but Tommy opted for Styx instead. It was the exact opposite of the situation in 1990 when the guys in Styx felt that Tommy had strung them along, only to go with DY instead. So now Ted saw that he and Dennis had had similar experiences with Tommy and that maybe Dennis was not the devil that Tommy had portrayed. If you watch the show, he and Dennis are debating, but also raising their water glasses to each other and goofing around a lot. They had a great time together. It is no secret that Ted was very angry with Tommy at that time. I bet he has a very different take on the Styx situation now.

Jack is usually the life of the party, though - last one to get on the bus. He's very down-to-earth and just loves talking about music.

Anyway, months down the road I saw DY again and Jack saw me and said "What's up Mike?" and I have respected him ever since for remembering my name after such a brief encounter.
