Your body resets itself every seven years or so. It is possible that something you were never allergic to before is now an issue.

My money is on the anchovies in the ceaser salad dressing.

I feel bad asking sometimes when we're at something "Is there any shellfish in that?", hubby asks for me most of the time, lol. When we were first dating I somehow accidentally ate some & didn't know it, & he was the one who took me to the ER, he was scared to death, lol.

Hubby tried to get me dressed and take me in to hospital last night but there
was no way I was moving to put clothes on and get in the car.
I have no known food allergies and have eatin all these types of food before.
Wish I knew what it was that triggered it.
Just glad my Hubby was with me all night and that I'm ok.

That's nice and sweet like of your Hubby to ask about ingredients
at restaurants for you, awwwwwwwwwww.

Actually restaurants usually are fine, it's at other things like parties, if I can't identify it, lol. Glad you're ok!

That sounds logical to me Sir, never had anchovies before but this was the best tasting ceaser salad I've
ever had, very well could have been that.
I will keep that in mind from now on, thank you.

You certainly can develop allergies to things that you were never allergic to. Sea food, I've been told is one of the things that this happens with most often. In fact, I've been told that it can even depend on what particular body of water the sea food came from. :?

Glad you're feeling better Moon Lady. :D

Glad you are feeling better today, Moon. Allergies can crop up later. My Dad is allergic to shellfish, and he didn't get it until his teens. Most restaurants are pretty good, but one place did get some shrimp in his fries once. He had to order a new entree and they didn't even offer him a free dessert  Anyway, allergists can test you if you want to be sure. Those tests are LOADS of fun.

The show was fun. Jimi Jamison came out in the audience during Eye Of The Tiger and had people sing it with him. He actually handed me the mic for a couple of lines. VERY cool of him. I KNEW I shoulda brought a sharpie and "Vital Signs".
The setlist went something like this:

Burning Heart
High On You
Is This Love
Rock Hard (?? it's a new song and I THINK that's the title)
The Search Is Over
Cover song....don't remember...I was in the bathroom at this point.
I can't hold Back
Eye Of The Tiger

There were a few more...but I was pretty wrecked. Was drinking from 4-2.

GREAT DRUNKEN NIGHT.

EDIT: Hungry Years and Popular Girl were also in the set. And I'm the one who requested them. (I was right up front. Not a lot of people there...so I could move around freely. :-)

RIDERS ON THE STORM was the cover song Jimi Jamison played. My memory's comin' back now that the hangover's gone.
Man...I took down about 30 beers last night...so I'm suprised I remembered THAT much of the setlist in the first place.

Just look forward to the 23rd. :-)

I was going to ask if they have screens there.... And, if they did, was there film of Pam Anderson running in slow motion? That would certainly cut down on bathroom breaks!

EDIT: Just saw a Directv commercial with Pam AND the song. LOL!

No screens at this place. Good thing for him 'cause he's playin' a free show and he'd have to pay a heafty royalty charge to the Baywatch people.
Funny how you just saw the commercial.
