I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Well I sure hope you folks were taking up the sauce slack for me
while I was away.

After fighting off the allergic reaction to whatever it was.
I fell flat on my face in the driveway yesterday, slipped in a pothole
with my Crocs on, love the shoes but they suck bad on wet surfaces.
The lady next door went and picked up my kid at school while I crawled
to our porch step and placed my head between my knees so I wouldn't pass
out. Man that's a shitty feeling, black and blue I be but sure glad I'm
mobile again, I'm built like a tank but I be such a klutz! :lol:


Today marks 11 years of Motherhood for me, our oldest was so excited leaving
for class this morning, gonna have a pizza/movie/cake party for him today.
How the hell do they grow so fast?

What's on the day menu for you Lot?

I am not looking forward to teenage years, the Birthday boy has already earned

Yup, sucks hugely that they grow so quickly and that you can't keep
em young, I'd have another child in a second if I could keep em under 2
forever.

My plans for today are mostly practical things - got my oil changed this a.m., will be scheduling an eye dr. appt, FUN STUFF. I think later I will break out some adult beverages. Yippee!!

Spent the day in New Orleans. Tough to explain to a 5 year old why naked women aren't gross to everyone. Watched the Senators suck wind last night. Walls of hotel rooms and car are closing in on me. Drank all my beer already. 7 more days of travel to go. I hope I make it!

I can only imagine explaining New Orleans to a 5 year old. When I was 13, our girls' and boys' basketball teams went to New Orleans for a tournament. My Dad and a couple of other Dads took a group of us to Bourbon Street during the day. Obviously, they weren't taking us at night!! The boys that were with us nearly strained their neck muscles trying to look in the nudie clubs. It was hilarious!!

Even though I'm not a beer drinker, I sympathize with your lack of booze. I hope you can get some soon!!
