JSS Out of Journey?

Yeah, JSS wants to create and Jon and Neal want to milk the greatest hits another few years.

Not trying to bring up the past, but this makes me personally wonder if Augeri was REALLY the bad guy in his case. No, what he did was not right, but this proves this band has no shame. It makes me wonder what kind of threats, pressure he may have been placed under. After reading the reviews from last tour, this band was on fire. They had a new lease on life. This is mind boggling.

Just went to the OFFICIAL site and JSS is photoshopped out of the band pic and bio no longer exists...they could have at least waited until an official announcement---NO CLASS AT ALL---they don't deserve JEFF...he's class all the way...he saved their asses last summer and they used him...that is if all this is true, which I am sure is...Makes me very angry and disappointed that all they want to be is a tribute band to Steve Perry. Such talent laid to waste...oh, well, I am done with them...

JEFF can now make a fantastic career for himself here in the USA.. he doesn't need Journey! They need him!
I'm sitting here just exploding and stomach is churning....How could they do this the day Andrew annouces his concert????

"Come see Journey and the Night Rider!" Seriously. Jeremey is the ONLY guy out there who was a better choice than JSS. I'd been wondering why Jeff had suddenly disappeared from the forum.

JSS saved their ass last summer. He wanted a "partnership" with Cain and Schon. They said - no way, Our way or the highway. JSS walked away with some dignity. Journey needed JSS more than he needed to sing someone elses catalog. Someone earlier said it right. "The only two people who made an effort to connect with their fans were Augeri and JSS".

I wouldn't worry about Jeff -- he will have plenty to do and share with the world as a singer/songwriter without Journey.I have NO doubt about it.
I for one,will be interested to follow his career.

But JOURNEY...Now that is a name that suddenly has a nostalgic ring to me.I think I will love what was and just imagine what could have been.

But when I pulled up the main site's "latest news" page- JSS was still listed. As he is when I pull up "the Band" section.

Click on Soto's name, and his bio is gone. Also, click on band up top, and he has been cropped out of the band pic. Yep, something is wrong all right!!

Well put Granny. He does not need them, and he IS too much class for them. He blows them away. Perhaps that is why they don't want him. They can't keep up with his energy. Last summer was the best this band ever sounded live IMO. EVER!!

Well, if that's what's happening, I will be done with live Journey too. I'll go back to my cd's and my love for the past sound. It just makes absolutely no sense to me. The audience loved the energy, I watched it many times, I just don't get it. If they are going to treat people this way, maybe Jeff will be better off. I think they've lost their minds. I'll still go to the shows because I go to see Neal #1; but, IF it's the truth that Jeff is gone I'm sure disappointed, especially after he cancelled shows to save the tour.

Someone mentioned professional jealousy, IMHO Jon is consumed with it, he's so damned self centered and jealous that he doesn't get the attention like some of ther other band members do it's sickening. I would bet cha that he is front and center on this decission IF it's true...just my .02 worth

My question would be who will replace Jeff? It's not out of the realm of possibility to have Perry come back for a farewell tour..if anyone could pull that off it would be Azcroff.
