KISS was always my favorite band, Journey dropped a few rungs. I'd say probably my 2nd fav band is The Black Crowes

I've always liked Train. Now's the time to explore their catalogue.

Lifehouse has been my favorite band for the last few years. Journey hasn't excited me for quite a while. I had high hopes for the JSS led version though.

Journey2 is my new favorite band, its where Perry calls Smith and his old pals (including Schon) on his own and does a new gig, they come to him, he doesn't go back for nothing...

You know, I was thinking that too, but I think Jeff is ready to do some melodic stuff. I think he was really digging being in Journey. I hope his next project makes him hugely successful though, whatever it is.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....

....I'd love to see Perry, Smitty, Randy, George, and Gregg make a band together. :D

Any band that Jeff is a part of because you know you'll get everything you want as a fan....that amazing voice of his, stellar musicianship, good albums, great concerts, and the royal treatment as a fan because that's just how he is.

I can't honestly think of who I'd "switch to". Perhaps Heart or Sammy Hagar.

Absolutely. The best frontman available.

You said it. Many might not agree with me, but IMO Jeff is the best frontman I've seen since Freddie Mercury. Been watching & listening to Jeff since his Yngwie days, and he's grown so much as an artist over the years. I will ALWAYS be a diehard fan of his.

Me too. While I've not been a fan as long as you have, I am one now. I'll go see him every chance I get. I doubt I'll EVER see another Journey show.

I hear ya. When I think about what might've been and how they didn't even give the man a chance, it sickens me.

Me too. I said this in another post, so I'm sorry if I sound like a broken record, but They should have let Jeff record at least one album to see how it went. I mean, he saved Journey's ass last summer. The least they could have done in that respect is give the guy a chance with one album. It may have been a huge success. Now they'll never know. Dumb fucks.

I think Harem Scarem will impress a few after October 6. And they have 11 albums to get into once you are hooked :)

Bad business decisions seem to run rampant in the Journey camp. What a clusterfuck of an organization. This will probably turn out to be a blessing for Jeff. I sure hope so.

Camp Freddy. Never the same show twice, and some of the best guest artists ever.

Talisman is a band I listen to a LOT these days. I also love Jeff's Ku-de-ta stuff & play that a lot. & his Eyes stuff. I like Takara too & Human Clay. His solo stuff too. Just got Red List, will give that spin manana. I've become a huge fan of him before Journey. I believe there will be an "after" Journey for him bigger than w/Journey that will be hugely successful. Would love if Talisman decided to give the US a twirl before hanging up their instruments.

Anything Jeff does, I'll follow. Anything Perry does, I'll follow. From what I'm hearing, I think I'll dig what Augeri's doing. Damn. I'm a "Journey ex-singer's club" junkie here!

I do like other bands. Just saw Maroon 5. Totally awesome!
