When Jeremey sits at the piano with Satan and his partner, and possibly sells his soul?

Living out a dream can never be considered selling out your soul. And let's remember, Jeremey hasn't done anything wrong. He's a good guy, and if he IS in fact in the running, I hope he gets the gig.

I agree. He has done nothing wrong. That is why I hate to see anything bad happen to him, as well as see Journey go this route.

IMO Jeremey also stands to lose a lot more than he will ever gain with these guys. If they will do something like this to Augeri AND someone as well respected as JSS, imagine how much of a problem they will have ridding themselves of Jeremey. Heck, they may even had the nads to tell Jeremey to his face.

Not that I wish the guy any ill will, but I hope he doesn't get the gig - especially if he's as nice a guy as I keep hearing. Those two yo-yo's would just eat him alive.

Getting the dream job with your idols is incredible ~ finding out your idols are snakes and having them rip your dreams and illusions to shreds before your eyes.... Unfathomable pain.

Just ask Jeff...
Peace ~

Yep. That is exactly my point. That could QUICKLY go from the dream of a lifetime to one of the most miserable experiences ever imagined. It seems to me like there was tension in the band before Jeff even got axed. I am not in the situation and can't speak for Jeremey, but even as cool as it would be fronting Journey, I'm just not a man comfortable having to look over my shoulder all the time. I would not want the stress, unless they were paying me mega bucks.

Thants true, he is just living out his dream, just like SP, SA, JSS. Can't blame a person when someone hands them an opportunity like this, however, I would serious not get too comfortable around any of the scums, the same thing is going to happen to jeremey, it is just a matter of time.
Keep Rocking the World Jeff!

It will be good for Jeremy. I'm not sure if it'll be permanent as Journey changes singers like others change underwear, but think about it. He can later use "Former singer of Journey" in his tribute band. However, now that I think about it, Schon and Cain will probably tell him "if you do this, you must sign this paper saying no more tribute bands, etc. AND you must listen to this tape of Jon's wife".

What do you want to bet that the contract says something about no internet usage and internet interaction with fans?

Speaking of the internet- what a brilliant idea to pull down the Journey site. NOT. Crappy site, but they should at LEAST put a link to their stuff on iTunes or something. I mean, they have this HUGE deal with the Soprano's and now there's no Journey site?? What a bunch of idiots.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

True, not a bright move, somebody dropped the ball on that one. :? But I mean come on, how seriously are these guys going to be taken as they try to move forward searching for their "6th" singer in the band?

Well, being a musician is their job, so they need the work. If they were smart, they'd avoid "Journey" and do something different.

Yeah, and Friga and Fro are dragging poor "Bernie - Journey" all over the place.

So, if he got the gig knowing what he knows is he gonna be happy? Gee, how would he be able to tell from F&F whether they were genuinely having a great time on stage??

Bullshit Eric. Stop making balnket statements about EVERYONE here.

I wouldn't go see them with Jeremey as the lead singer. No matter how good a job I think he does as a tribute singer. I mean no dis-respect to Jer himself, but won't support Journey, period. Hell, I wouldn't even go see them when hell freezes over and Perry does the one off concert that several here think he'd do (which he won't).

Am I lying? Can you prove that beyond any shadow of a doubt? I wouldn't have ever touched this band with my vocals, when I could sing the songs back when I was much younger, because as a fan (then), It killed my voice to try to sing them accurately. Why would I want to get paid to lose my voice when I could do it for free?

Jeremey is in the air as I type this. Jeremey should take this gig. Jeremey should get what he can for his family.

I spoke out of raw emotion last week, and want to correct myself.

Jeremey is a nice guy and is not the target. Today, Jeremey will arrive SFO, travel up to the Bitch's house and do what he can do to become singer for Journey. Mgt will be there, Neal, Ross, and Jon.

I would take the gig too. I really would. The money Jeremey can make just being in the band Journey is more than he has made in his entire life.

I say good luck to you Jeremey. Do what you need to do. I wish you the best. However, if you are all around having a beer on the deck, overlooking the Open Arms pool, and Friga is in front of you, feel free to push him off the deck into the concrete. Then ask Neal for Greg number and ring him up.

In all sincerity, good luck to you Jeremey.

Once Neal plugs in, Cain sits on the bench, Deen picks up the sticks and Ross begins to pluck and they HEAR Jeremey they should cancel any other auditions.

Just wish management would not be there.

Management wants to hear him so they can decided how quickly his legal paperwork will need to be signed.
