I just gave you the numbers, brain surgeon.
No way that most or least a huge bunch of the buyers who picked that 2001 dvd up didn't know Journey was operating with a new front man. What arguments do YOU have to refute mine, Mr Prove it?

Or were you just looking to get a group high 5 from a tough talking soundbite at my expense without a clue what you, let alone I, are talking about?

Now go choke on those numbers, or go back into grieving and mourning the loss of a singer n a rock band or better still drop dead. As your handle asks, "Who cares" which?

Chill out little joeypa.

No need for a high5 for me.

As I said, you're showing yourself to be an ass. That's all the high 5 I need.

I have the F&B DVD, and the Houston DVD....and I watch them once a month.

I'll go you one further, I am a fat assed SAHM and do not own and have yet to even see the Augeri

Oh, I see.

The waltzing into the thread, gunz ablaze telling me to "stop talking out of my ass" "YOU go do the research" and "Shut my piehole" attempts to put me in my place (after I had pretty tame give and take w/ Sherrie and Matt both of whom KNOW what the fuck they're talking about BTW) have been replaced, has now shifted to the "calm down, you're overreactiing" schtic after you had my very correct points stuffed back down your throat. Now I'M showing MYself to be an ass.

Are you passive or aggressive? Pick one, dude because you sorta look like a pussy when you choose both, no offense of course.

BTW, didn't you use "Get over yourself" a bunch of times in here already? Get a new punchline already, that impact's like getting duller all the time.

Just my two cents:

I don't see how anyone could have bought that DVD and not known that Steve Augeri was fronting the band...it said it on the friggin' case. LOL

I remember that when it came out, it was the top selling DVD for at least a couple of weeks on CDNOW (RIP...merged with Amazon now). Kevin Shirley said that he was sure it was turning some heads at Sony. He said the same thing about Dream Theater's new album which, at that time, was the top selling cd at CDNOW.

Honestly, do people really think that no one flipped the dvd case over and checked out the back before they bought it? :)

Also, Steve's red leather pants had absolutely nothing to do with me buying it! lol

It was indeed his voice that made me a fan, and I think to insinuate that he's on the same level as somebody like Jessica Simpson, (selling music based on looks) is a very unfair and baseless insult. Just because he's not the guy that some would prefer in Journey doesn't mean he's not talented or that people can't enjoy the way he sings. Same goes for Perry and Jeff.

I just wanna add that it was part of the agreement when Perry left the band that each album released without him have a sticker prominently placed on the product in question stating that he's not in the band. You had to tear it off with the plastic that wrapped around the cd/DVD...but it's been there on each of the releases. That's why it said, "Featuring lead vocals by Steve Augeri" on the back of the Armageddon soundtrack underneath "Remember Me" on the tracklisting.

So, yes, people who picked up the DVD knew.

I was asked to listen to it after I swallowed my Perry Pride and gave him a chance.

You may be able to bully most of the people around here, but you won't succeed with me.

In the future, please refrain from responding to any posts of mine. Cause obviously the jump from the little kids table to the adult table was too much of a stretch for you.

By any chance are you in some kind of E-cliche fantasy league here?

You're racking up daily doubles left and right, stealing buzzwords and catchphrases and "I won't back down" stories from everywhere from other posters in this very thread (Not one but TWO "get over yerself"s) to car bumper stickers with this spastic, tourettes-like bitchy little rant. All because I asked you a simple question.

Furthermore, if YOU don't want ME responding to posts of YOURS, best not to toss little barbs my way and then quoting me.

I could give a rip about your postcount, too, not sure what that was supposed to be there IS no pecking order here.

Other than that you're in good shape and I think we'll get on fine here.

Are you like a "Junior" or a "The Third," by the way?

Yep....we'll get on fine because I won't take any of your shit.

You reacted like I questioned your manhood, or womanhood by including a

But didn't you include one in a previous post in this thread?

I'm fully aware of messageboard/group dynamics. They're all the same.

And I'm very much familiar with posters of your ilk. There IS a pecking order here. A very poorly disguised one.

See with posters like you, everyting has to be 100% correct in a post. Cause you'll pick out any error in grammar, syntax, or logic.

You will dissect opinions, and demean the poster. All in the name of proving that you are the alpha male, and thus, superior.

And you may have others mesmorized, but the ruse is old.

So feel free to crawl up on your soapbox, and opine.....cause obviously your main objective is to sift through these threads and snipe at people.

You, my friend, are the cliche'

N you don't really know me at all then, guy.

I'm not a spelling policeman (that's St John and Deano's beat), I can't quote more than 1 line while at the same time still have my post make sense and I like every era of Journey. I have nobody mesmerized (nor am I searching for that) as my stance on the band now's about as welcome as church flatulence.

What it is is this. The 2 people in this thread who came at me with a lot of noisy bullshit didn't like what ensued and each tried to make it look like I initiated it. Now you both look like smacked asses, but that too can be overcome.

In your case, it may be a little harder; PROBABLY need to drop that drama queen energy first.

First of all....when you are trying to defend your actions, please don't backpedal to save face.

You jumped all over my tip because I inserted the 'wink', and it must have insulted your gender.

The fact is that you are a hypocrite, plain and simple. You took offense to the 'wink', but used one yourself. Again, do I need a certain post count, or special clique membership card to joke around?

I get along best with honest, genuine individuals. So far, you are O for 2.

I've got your little game down to a science. When shit doesn't go your way, you go seek(post) in threads that house your closest allies. And then one of them strokes your ego, and everything's right for awhile....that is until that itch becomes too much for you to bear - and then it needs scratching.

Then you leave the comfy confines of those warm, fuzzy threads, where your fanclub resides - only to seek out those posts that don't quite live up to your standards.....

You are a firstclass bully, sir......you are a weak little person who needs CONSTANT approval and reassurance...

Well you will get neither from me.....

I did to, We had it on direct tv{did you still have primetime?} I liked primetime better then Direct tv. I recorded on Vhs and wore that fucker out, then I bought one, and later got the DVD at the mall. That was the only smart thing Journey did, I would have never known unless I didnt see it for myself. I would be pissed if he jumped on my Piano, they are not that strudy to be jumped on at an angle{I move pianos} I noticed he hit the high notes better afterwards

In small type on the back with no photo?

Kevin Shirley said that he was sure it was turning some heads at Sony.

So much so that Journey got dropped by Sony later that year....

Honestly, do people really think that no one flipped the dvd case over and checked out the back before they bought it? :)

I'm sure some did. Most probably picked up the DVD...saw "Journey" written on the front...and chucked it in the basket.

I think to insinuate that he's on the same level as somebody like Jessica Simpson, (selling music based on looks)is a very unfair and baseless insult. By all means enjoy the guy's tribute performance in 2001 ...but let's not pretend that it was the reason people bought the DVD. I'd say it sold despite Augeri's presence in the band.

My guess is that most people who bought the DVD were either ardent Journey fans or at least fans enough that most of them had some idea Augeri was in the band and not Perry. Regardless, you can't really say one way or the other than it sold well despite his presence in the band. There's just nothing to back that up.

If you read back, this is how it got it got a little screamy on whocares and this other nitwit's part. I was debating w/ Matto and Sherrie the need to give perry the most credit for the 01 dvd sales and if people bought it knowing it wasn't perry singing.

Then I have one poster come in telling me to shut my piehole another come in calling me a fuckstick and doing a complete (ly wrong) poster psych profile on me, and I replied to their enquiries.
