Claws out & teeth bared? What? B/c I said u were rude to say Jeff didnt pass probation & we were all acting childish for being upset? If u think that's claws out & teeth bared u really dont want to see me when I'm angry. I think it is rude to say things like Jeff didnt pass probation. Wrong I never called u a bitch. As for crawling under a rock that was in reference to the kind of fans Journey wants: those who live under rocks & dont know what's really going on. I never told anyone else to crawl under a rock. So what is ur point?

Jeff himself has corrected people on this board who have referred to him as "too metal" for Journey. That's EXACTLY what u said & THAT is rude. I told u to research his work & that u looked like an ass saying that. Now THAT is a fact: Metal is only a SMALL part of the entire body of Jeff's work.

Personally I think it's very childish to say Jeff is "too metal" for Journey if u are not aware of his work. Or that he failed his "probation". He was officially named the lead singer LONG after his "probation" ended (if u consider 5 months singing w/the band live "probation"). I also think it's childish to get angry at those of us who are upset about Jeff being fired after we were so built up to believe in this incarnation of Journey. U think we're childish to be upset. Stalemate. No one can win.

Ok I changed my name to just JR b/c it seems too many people are confusing me w/JourneySuxBalls who I am not. I cant call myself JourneyRox anymore b/c they dont rock. But I'm tired of being confused w/someone else. Susie is not available apparently or I would have called myself that.

Nancy I, like many others here, are taking this switch personally b/c of the way Jeff was treated. I initially heard Jeff was leaving of his own free will & I was ok w/that. Then suddenly the truth came out. If u need to know the truth, it's detailed in Brian May's & Marcel's blog. More info is in Deano's blog about it (click the pic in my sig). It's dirty dirty dirty. As I said to u in that other thread (the crawl under the rock one), Jeff gave up a LOT to jump in & save this band from the tapegate disgrace. He brought fans back into the fold that were ready to, or had already given up on Journey. Jeff was very good to me & many other people here. He sat here on this forum & posted w/us fans as one of us. He did more PR for Journey than any other singer (yes, Augeri did a LOT too & I know that). This band got us fans all riled up for the future w/Jeff, then uncermoniously fired him. Call me all the names u want for taking this personally but I do. Jeff isnt my best buddy, no. But I felt a connection to him. He should have been treated better. He deserved it. When I sat & watched him be erased from their site bit by bit, I felt sick.

I will NEVER regret anything I said here or anywhere else in my life. Thats not who I am. U seem like the kind of person who doesnt cuss & probably lives a very pure life. For that, I admire u. I gave up on Journey when Perry left. I had never seen them live (only Perry) so I tried again. Then I was appalled that Journey used tapes. Sure other people do it but not bands known for live performances. I gave them another chance only b/c of Jeff. I am now completely sick b/c of this fiasco w/Jeff. It's just more than I can take. I cant erase the music or the memories either. I also cant erase the memories of what has just happened & how this band has made a mockery of itself.

As I said to u before, enjoy the shows u go to in the future. I hope Jeremey gets the job & I wish him all the very best. Id love to see him but I cant spend money that goes to the rest of the band as well. I just cant.
