Well...I've mentioned this before...but the MAIN one is Butterfly. NOT THE LYRICS...LET ME EXPLAIN.

My friend Jen (different Jen than Blondie) rang the doorbell the morning that we (2 brothers and me) were supposed to leave for my sister's wedding...so that woke me up. Chatted for a sec then I took a shower. Got out of the shower and while I was walking to my room I heard my brother's phone ring. Right then I knew. I could just feel it. So...after I heard the "official" news..I just kinda sat on my bed for a minute..Jen came in, gave me a hug saying "I'm SO sorry" and I was just in that numb "I'm not done packing" mode. Got finished..we headed to the airport and caught our plane. I turned on my MP3 player and the first thing I hear is the beginning to the end guitar solo to Butterfly. Right then...it hit me short of seeing him in a casket. I had it on random and Beyond The Clouds was on right after that. Pretty fucked up order...but..oh well. And THAT was my morning of 10/27/05.
ANYWAY...this ain't the SAD thread...this is the Drunken debauchery thread.

I'm a sick one tonight too, so no drinking. Just checking in to say hi, but it took me forever to catch up. Why is it that on the nights I'm not on the Booze thread lengthens by 4 pages?

Liam, sorry you've had a wave hit ya. I miss your dad too. Where do you think you got your smart-assness from? (I know that's not a real word, but it works).

Enjoying a Sea Breeze ( the drink and a real sea breeze) whilst preparing for a cookout .... so far made up some tator salad, bbq baked beans, cole slaw, put together some steak shish kabobs, iced down some shrimp, some watermelon (and some beer), shucked some corn, and baked a chocolate torte with layers of rasberry filling and chocolate glaze on top ( sinful)....now preparing some chickens to hop on the grill and get drunk :lol:

She fell off the playground equipment and clipped her mouth on the way down. Tore the part inside on her upper lip where the lip attached to the gums. Can't stitch it, but there's a hole there and it's so swollen and black that she can hardly talk. I'm pretty sure she's going to lose her 2 front teeth. At least they are baby teeth, but she's only 3 so she might be toothless for a while. It's been quite a morning. At least I got tickets to the SB concert!

Ouch, sorry that happened, Jen.

I had something similar happen to one of my girls, she got 6 stitches in her lip tho. Swelling took about a week to go away. Kids are amazing though, she'll be fine. It's usually harder on us parents, I think. :lol:
