The Booze Thread.

I am sorry to interrupt the festivities of Master getting a good night's sleep (yea for you!), but I promised yesterday to post about my bad news when I had more info. The information I have is still not complete, but I will share what I have....

Yesterday morning, my ex-husband called and told me he had been in the hospital since last Friday evening. The doctors (he has 5 working on his case) have confirmed he has a tumor at the base of his brain stem where it connects to the spine. It is inoperable. I spoke to him again today and the team of doctors is still deciding about whether to biopsy it or not. Also, they have not yet agreed on whether it's slow-growing or aggressive or if it's benign or malignant. I will be going to the hospital this evening with my best friend.

Even though he and I have been divorced, we are still friends (as much as you can be with an ex). And even though he has been a royal pain in my butt for years (last few years of marriage were BAD), I feel really bad for him right now. I took the news pretty hard yesterday and am still kind of up and down with it today. If you are so inclined, please pray for Michael and his family during this difficult time.
