Deano, I like you, you've always made me laugh on here. But why rip someone's alma mater? Its alright to rip Neal Schon(although I never would) but c'mon, not my college edge-eee-kay-shun!!!!

Never ripped your alma mater, and never will, because that person actually went to college, and doesn't deserve to be ripped on.

Now, to facts. The PAC10 has more championships than any conference period, on all sports. USC(who I fucking hate), owns the SEC. Smoked UA, Ark twice and so on. Top25? Oh that means a shitload I tell ya. Preseason ranking mean so much. I can guarantee you Alabama will not be a top 20 team at years end...in fact, I bet you the PAC10 has more top 20 teams than your precious SEC(which has 12 teams versus the PAC's 10).

Again, NEVER ripped your college. Love Urban Meyer and Billy D....Sports Dominance to be sure. Love the Gator clap, the Swamp, etc.

Find me ANY conference in the country, top to bottom, that's as tough as the SEC. Give up??? THERE ISN'T ONE!!!!!

GOD I get tired of these USC assholes hollering about how tough they are. Who the fuck do they play week after week? Oh yeah , POWERHOUSES like Washington State, Washington, Idaho, and we CAN'T forget STANFORD!!!
Don't...make...me...LAUGH!!!!!

Hey X, I take it your a UK Wildcat? If so, you guys are gonna be tough this year. You have an awesome QB, probably the best one you've has since Tim Couch!

Yeah, it's always traumatic being a UK football fan (or VANDY for that matter! I was born in Nashville, so there you go...) I hope you're right about this year. Woodson is a damn fine quarterback...I was never a fan of "the hefty lefty". I'm not sure why that guy ever got to start! We had a much better QB sittin on the bench while he was on the field. But I still hold that even teams like UK and VANDY , if you put them in a lesser conference where they didn't get the shit pounded out of them by the SEC powerhouses week after week, in a lesser conference would be nine win teams every year.

Your absolutely right on that assessment! But lately UK and Vandy are turning the corner. Ya had Jay Cutler damn near upset Florida in the Swamp his senior year(took us to OT) and Woodson played great last season, I can only imagine with a year under his belt. Thats why he is First team All-SEC!!!! A year ago UK was ready to lynch Rich Brooks now it looks like he may be around a while!

FYI, Washington State has finished top 10 3 of the last 6 years and been to the Rose Bowl 2 times in the last 6, and the other bowl game was the Holiday Bowl where the beat the shit out of Texas and Vince Young. Yes, Washington and Stanford are shit, but UCLA, Oregon, Oregon ST, Cal, ASU and Arizona are all good. What exactly has Kentucky done?

PS- SC, who I despise, plays an out of conference schedule that includes Nebraska and Notre Dame. I notice you conveniently forgot those two OOC opponents.

You SEC wackos need to understand theie are teams OUTSIDE Stars and Bars land. Go drink a Budweiser, jack off to Earnhardt Jr and go go go Bama all day. Bama will not win 8 games.

Thanks for the welcome, Laura and Spike, and anyone I missed throughout this thread. Hopefully my Augeri rants dont get to be too much at times. I'm not his biggest fan by any means but I do respect what he did for Journey at a time when they needed it so I will always support his contributions.

A- I hate BAMA

b) I'm much more of a Terry Labonte fan, and since he retired I hardly ever jack off to him.

c) I much prefer Coors light...

d) Your right about USC's OOC schedule, but I was refering to their CONFERENCE schedule...

e) I only put W-STATE in their on your behalf :P (btw- wasn't Vince Young , like, a freshman when they handed him that defeat? )

f) Though it ain't much, KY DID win their bowl game last year, and they had a respectable finish in a very tough conference schedule (that also included Louisville in the ooc games)

And yes I was also a fan of Steve Augeri although it took seeing him live before I realized it. JSS was a true talent although I didnt get to see him in concert and truly wish he would have had a little time to show what he could. Regardless of the current state of Journey affairs I am still a huge fan and will stand beside whatever they decide.
as we walk blindly into the night.....

Damn Wildone, after reading some of your other posts you sure seem to harbor some hostility. In a years time everyone will start forgetting the JSS fiasco and will start refocusing on the music with the new singer.

Not everyone. Some of us made the mistake of believing relevance was important to the band. I haven't lost focus, especially on the dirty dozen since they've shoved it down our throats tour after tour after tour, etc...

Welcome aboard.
Until we meet again, may God

Deano, I gotta weigh in:
I'm not a Bama fan although they are an SEC family member and would kick the crap out of most other teams beyond the Mason Dixon line!!!
I drink Miller Lite, and I really like it....
I'm much more of a Tony Stewart fan than old #8
I truly believe the reason the SEC doesnt have twice the NC's they already have is because we have to play each other and knock ourselves out.
We have legends in the south-Bear Bryant, Dale Earnhardt, Phil Niekro, and Peyton Manning, just to name a few.....
Your pathetic PAC 10 has one team-USC. The rest would be massacred by the SEC. Down here, we ASK Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Notre Dame, Penn State and Texas to play us. They ask UTEP, Appalachian State, or Rice to play them.
Lets face it, everyone knows the SEC is the most dominating conference in sports. Hell, we even got the Basketball championship the last 2 years straight. And guess who we took down for that-UCLA(twice) and Ohio State. Deam on man, and pass around whatever it is you are smoking.

Oh joy, the attempted thoughts of a Southerner....Let's contrast, shall we?

I'm much more of a Tony Stewart fan than old #8

Well, that isn't all bad, but you do know the current Champion comes from California..cringe...1-0.

I truly believe the reason the SEC doesnt have twice the NC's they already have is because we have to play each other and knock ourselves out.

Give me a break. Knock each other out? You, as well as the Pac 10 play your share of patsies, however, now, the PAC10 plays everyone in the conference, while the SEC does NOT play each of it's members yearly. Yes, I know there are 12 teams, but instead of that Fordham tilt, or that trip to Georgia Southern, why not play say, 10 of the 12 teams in your own conference. You do know the PAC 10 has .655 winning percentage against your conference in the last 10 years, right? Your reasoning is flatout wrong. 2-0.

We have legends in the south-Bear Bryant, Dale Earnhardt, Phil Niekro, and Peyton Manning, just to name a few.....

Talk about an easy one. John Wooden, Lew Alcindor, Reggie Jackson, John Elway, Troy Aikman, "just to name a few." 3-0.

Your pathetic PAC 10 has one team-USC. The rest would be massacred by the SEC.

Haha. Ok. Again, a 5 team conference sends as many teams to bowl games as a 12 team conference, beats them head to head more than it loses, yet sucks. Ok. Your beloved SEC will not schedule games out here...tell me why that is? Meanwhile, USC went out there and crushed Auburn and Arkansas, twice. 4-0.

Down here, we ASK Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Notre Dame, Penn State and Texas to play us. They ask UTEP, Appalachian State, or Rice to play them.

You really think I don't know college football or at least wouldn't look it up? Your SEC plays patsies every week, as do some here(tune up games.) This year, WSU is at Wisconsin, Washington is at Syracuse, USC has Nebraska and ND, UCLA has ND. As for the Big Ten, they suck anyways. Michigan? please..

Lets face it, everyone knows the SEC is the most dominating conference in sports. Hell, we even got the Basketball championship the last 2 years straight. And guess who we took down for that-UCLA(twice) and Ohio State. Deam on man, and pass around whatever it is you are smoking.

Again, the PAC 10 is accurately called the "Conference of Champions." 5-0. Scoreboard.

You want to compare GPA's? Probably not. We actually go to school in the Pac 10. I know you don't want to argue this.

Incorrect. WSU has been to the Rose Bowl once in the last 6 years and twice in the last 10. They last won the Rose Bowl in 1916. However, you are correct in that they finished in the Top 10 3 of the last 6 years. In 2001 and 2002 they were ranked 10th and in 2003 they were ranked 9th (all AP). That was with Mike Price (2001 and 2002...2003 had his recruits)...who they should have never let get away. Seemed like a cool guy to hang out with.

Whoa nelly. Deano, yer posts are normally right on the mark. BUT, to use these two names in the same sentence as some sort of proof that you have your stars is blasphemy! Good god man... certainly you could have come up with someone better than Acheyman. Just reading that left a bad taste in my mouth.

While I'm here, I drink MGD, REALLY dislike Jr's move to whineyasses team--and since my driver retired (that would be Mr. Wallace to all you fans) I've been watching baby Busch, and I'll stay out of the who's balls are bigger competition as in my state the ONLY game that matters is the UT v A&M annual bash.

That was with Mike Price (2001 and 2002...2003 had his recruits)...who they should have never let get away. Seemed like a cool guy to hang out with.

Yeah no shit, hangin out with Price in a Bama hotel, rolling with hot chicks..yeah that would suck  Thanks for your correction and also your WSU jistory, but they last went to the Rose Bowl before '98 in 1931, not 1916. They got buttfucked in the 98 Rose Bowl..Remember that one? Leaf(despite him being a complete asshole, was a great CFB QB)..anyway, on their own 8 yd line with 29 seconds, they march down to the 21 yd line, and with 2 seconds left Leaf spikes ball...but noooooo, referree says time expired. You can see Loyd Carr stuffing some Benjamins into the Zebras pockets  By the way, Can you blame Price for wanting to go to Bama and make a million a year?

GOD I get tired of these USC assholes hollering about how tough they are. Who the fuck do they play week after week? Oh yeah , POWERHOUSES like Washington State, Washington, Idaho, and we CAN'T forget STANFORD!!!
Don't...make...me...LAUGH!!!!!

I'm not a Bama fan although they are an SEC family member and would kick the crap out of most other teams beyond the Mason Dixon line!!!

Check the graduation rates in Florida. We have one of the best scores in the country.

You don't hear good. I was saying the PAC 10 is a much better academic conference than the SEC. I would even go as far as to say, that aside from Vandy, a single SEC school couldn't come into the PAC10, due to academic standards. Why the Hell you think BYU, Colorado State or Utah hasn't joined the PAC 10?

You need to offer majors in disciplines other than Physical Education, basket weaving, and Football.
