I sincerely hope to rub your faces in this oversight over the next couple of weeks...or more.
Dude...first and foremost, none of us are "experts". We simply have an opinion, like you. If you think the Chargers will win, more power to you. The difference with me is that I don't think my team is going to win, just because it's the team I root for. I can tell you this...I've been a Celtics fan my entire life, and at NO point over the past 15 years, have I picked them to win ANYTHING! I simply call them as I see them.
As for your Chargers...They certainly have some talent. That said, they simply aren't on the same planet with New England or Indy! While I certainly give Tomlinson the edge over any other back in the league, the NFL is a QB driven league, and never moreso, than in the playoffs! Phillip Rivers simply isn't good enough to beat Manning or Brady, period, end of story! Not to mention, if Gates doesn't play, most teams can take away Chris Chambers (Vincent Jackson isn't scaring anyone). The final point I'll make is that coaching matters more in the NFL, than any other league, and always has! You have Norv Turner on your sidelines. Anyone who thinks they're winning a Super Bowl with Norv Turner as their head coach is DELUSIONAL! The guy has NEVER won as a head coach, and never will!
