Isn't it funny how no pro sports player is ever guilty of a penalty in their own eyes? They always have this shocked "I can't believe it!" attitude about it. If they would just man up and accept they fucked up, I'd have more respect for them.

Well, I'm quite sure that I never once said "A win is a win no matter how ya get it". I said it doesn't matter if you win by one point or 30 points...It still counts in the W column! As for predictions...I'm 2-0 so far, after a subpar 2-2 last weekend. I think the Colts will blow out San Diego. SD is a fraud team, just like Pittsburgh! Merriman needs to stop doing his retarded sack dance and focus on winning a football game! The guy is a complete JACKASS! It wouldn't shock me to see Indy win by three touchdowns.

As far as the Dallas/Giants game...this is a VERY tough game for me. As a Boston guy, I am required to LOATHE EVERYTHING New York! I've also always DESPISED the Cowboys. Because I hate both team equally, it's easier to be a bit more objective. If T.O. is running the way I saw him running in practice on Thursday (he was full speed with no visible signs of the high ankle sprain), Dallas will give the Giants all they can handle! That said, I still think Wade is a buffoon and can't be trusted to win ANYTHING! I think regardless of which team wins, it's going to be close. I'm still picking the Giants to upset the Cowboys in this one. I just don't think Dallas is focused or well-coached enough to win in the playoffs!

You're going to be 3-1 this week.

Hey, look at that...you're right. I managed to go 3-1 because your number one ranked Fraudboys CHOKED! I told you that dope Phillips was going to be your undoing. He is now 0-4 in the playoffs, as a head coach! That nutbag Jerry Jones should just coach the team himself. He seems to think he's the smartest guy in the history of the NFL! If Parcells was the coach of this team, they'd be on their way to the Super Bowl!

Now, let's see how long it takes Jerry Jones to show that buffoon Phillips to the door! I would imagine that jackass T.O. will be ripping Romo in the media, before the week is over! Looks like a rematch of Green Bay and New England in the Super Bowl! It would be VERY sweet to pay them back for that loss in 1996!

Did they ever. They had a pretty good season overall though. I have to give them a big round of applause. With the exception of Owens, they're pretty much a bunch of nobody's, and they did pretty damn good. I agree that Phillips needs to be replaced, but just to secure Garrett. Make Phillips the GM and make Garrett the head coach. Would work better that way.

Rick...

Your football credentials are gone forever, in my eyes! You're a fan of the Cowboys, and you seriously believe that they're "a bunch of nobody's"? Listen...I hate the Cowboys, and I told you all along that Wade Phillips is a moron. who has NEVER been cut out to be a head coach! The guy has NEVER won ANYWHERE, and yet that genius GM, Jerry Jones thought he was the man to replace Parcells! That said, Tony Romo threw THIRTY SIX touchdowns this season. That's the fifth most in the history of the NFL! Marion Barber III is a stud running back, who is VERY underrated! Jason Witten is one of the best Tight Ends in the NFL! The Cowboys offensive lines is one of the best in the NFL! Their defense is VERY good! You can make all the excuses in the world for your beloved Cowboys, but don't tell me they have no talent. They have FAR more talent than the Giants have, and should have beat them, easily! As for your suggestion that Phillips should be the GM...what are you smoking, dude????? Phillips is a defensive coordinator who has NEVER been a GM, anywhere and has zero credentials when it comes to selecting talent for an NFL roster! I wouldn't let that assclown be the GM of a Pop Warner team! Also, in case you haven't noticed, you already have a GM...His name is Jerry Jones!

Collectively yes, Owens is the only big name guy on the team unless you consider Romo. He's too young in the league to be a big name player, he's just big hyped. None of the other guys are household names. That's what I meant about nobody's.

As far as Phillips being the GM, that's the only alternative. Jones already said he would be back next year. I seriously doubt he meant that by demoting him. He'll either be the GM or the HC, I'm hoping he is the GM so that Garrett can be the head coach. That's one dude I don't want to see the Cowboys lose.

Agreed.
As a head coach, dude's been a hell of a d-coordinator.
A brutal, players' coach "yes" man. He took the NFC's best roster and had them ill-prepared to go to war against an inferior, but VERY well-coached Giants team who was prepared to hilt to run through a wall for Coughlin.

Switch coaches and that shit's a Dallas blowout.

Green Bay VS. New England in the Super Bowl.

New England wins 34-31. Would love to see Favre get one last Super Bowl ring, but this is probably a realistic ending to 2007.

WTF is up with the officials and the Colts? I have never seen anything like it. Addai held and threw down #32, but the holding penalty goes against SD and nullifies the TD? Pass interference on a play where no contact whatsoever is made between the WR and the DB? Phantom holding calls...the list goes on. Proves my point about the Pats-Colts game last year being as close to fixed as an NFL game has ever been. Thankfully the over-rated Colts are out of the playoffs.

Not so sure the Colts are over-rated, there's a heap of talent on that team, however, there were a lot of calls that went in their direction. There should have been an eyebrow or two that were raised over it. I'm glad you said something, I thought I was the only one who was freaking over that.

If the Giants come out with the same focus they had against the Pats, Dallas will go down. I think the game hinges on two players:

1) TO - High ankle sprains are a bitch and they take forever to go away. I think you will see a very limited TO on Sunday.

2) Eli Manning - If good Eli shows up, the Giants should win. If bad Eli shows up, Dallas will win.

I think TO needs to play, also. He has been allowed to be TO this year and Dallas has thrived. That bitter, fat old grouch Parcells took TO and tried to turn him into the type of player he wanted him to be. Phillips has let TO be TO and the results speak for themselves. Dallas is ready, don't kid yourself.

both of you guys kinda got it as a prediction..but TO was there.. was no big deal.. the recievers dropped balls etc... ELI DID show up and looked pretty incredible..

dallas defense is horrid.. ranked high.. what does that say about offical rankings..

Romo had a pretty good, yet sad and intense interview after the game on ESPN, the questions were brutal on him.. he held his ground.. he may have not been as sharp as he has been , but the entire team with penalties just crumbled..

i still dont think its a good idea to vacation in Mexico the week before the playoffs.. who does that ?

I hate to say it but Romo is gonna be labeled as a QB that can't seal the deal. Two straight years the game has come down to something under his control and he choked both times. He's gonna get the same rep as Donovan McFlabb has as a guy who's good but not great.

You think Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady or Matt Hasselback would go to Mexico for a vacation right before their respective playoff games? Hell no. They are all very good at what they do and respect the game and their respective cities. Plus, they are all smart enough to know Mexico is a fucking toilet and nothing good comes out of Mexico, except venereal disease, and cheap labour.

Peyton Manning had that label too, until he won one.

I give props to Romo for owning up and manning up come post game interview time, but Dallasans aren't going to care about responsibility. They want playoff wins.

Mcnabb frankly isn't that good. I never saw that hacks potential. I mean, shit, he went to Sewercruise.
